I said the Fourth Crusade was certainly something that mattered with regard to the subject. If you noticed, it was in response to another post. Settle down, Beavis.

I only asked a simple question, but none of you will say that you condemn what they teach.

I have heard many speak out against it. Or does only public outcry count? How does the average muslim go about obtaining airtime to satisfy this standard?

Do most catholics, since they haven't spoken publicly about pedopriests, secretly condone the behavior?

The difference now is the left and the moderate Islamic constituent need to be the ones speaking out against the radical elements. The mantra of “Islam is a religion of peace” simply isn’t true. Christianity has come to terms with and found Doctrinal ways of condemning things like the The Inquisition, Crusades, and Witch Hunts. Until Islam does the same the terror and Jihad, and Martyrdom, this isn’t going to change. We have people with 7th century thinking in a 21st century socio-political military world and its dangerous. The moderates and liberal left need to be honest at where the problem really is, and it’s the right and conservative factions that seem to be the only ones that are honest about it.

No, the right wants to ban all muslims... not sure that such a position ascribing the extremist views to all is being honest.

Back on 9/11 a friend of mine's wife was a teacher in the Creve Hall area in Nashville. Lots of Muslims in the area back then and more now.....she had students that cheered when the news broke. More than a few condone this crap and honor killings too.
