Islam, is it a religion of peace or war?

I know that it does, that is why I stick with Gods word rather than feelings.

How do you know God's word is correct? Do you know the first Hebrew Bible was written in Greek? Did you know the original Hebrew Bible was written with only the first letter of each word and not the entire word? A group of scribes called the Masorites did not finish writing out complete words and adding punctuation until the 10th century? The Masorites engaged in a ton of guesswork trying to figure out what words were supposedly used. Your favorite Bible translation, the KJV, is rife with translation errors.

I love to read the Bible but I do not believe it is perfect or flawless. Neither did Thomas Jefferson, who had his own Gospel prepared in Koine Greek that only contained the words of Christ. He did not believe all the other scripture was correct or directly given from God.

I've looked long and hard about this very subject and am persuaded that I have a copy of the very words of God. If I didn't believe that, I would not follow Christianity any more.

You should leave yourself room to be wrong. I see faith as something that is constantly growing, and sometimes, I think we can make mistakes. It's okay to adjust your beliefs as you learn, IMO. You don't have to abandon faith completely because something changes.

I'm very settled on the subject of the Bible. I have full confidence that I do indeed have a copy of the word of God! It's been tried and proven, why should I doubt it now?

I'm just saying never believe you're so right that you couldn't possibly be wrong. That's when you stop growing.

Quantum mechanics doesn't work? QM made it possible for us to develop MRIs, computers, cell phones, lasers and atomic clocks. Yeah, it's totally not working!

I dont argue with trolls . If you do not know about the serious problems created by pretty much nothing at the quantum level functioning the way general relativity states that they HAVE to...then you should do some reading. Also, I have read several articles from respected scientists about how we are actually in a real drought of scientific breakthroughs in the field of physics, particularly at the quantum level. Too much time spent formulating pretty theoretical math suggesting what "might" be and no real discoveries. Quarks, higgs boson, dark matter/energy...its all theoretical and so far fruitless. IMO until we figure out gravity and magnetism we will struggle mightily...and be stuck in this tiny speck of space around Sol. Those crafts in the navy videos had no visible propulsion...and appear to be unaffected by friction nor gravity. When, and if, we figure a way around gravity we will travel the stars. Not before. I think there is a lot more to magnetism than we can even fathom also.

The experiment you were talking about previously (in an earlier post) I think is the double slit experiment. Very strange stuff.

I dont think we should necessarily judge things like general relativity based on whether they're completely accurate, but rather whether they're useful in producing accurate results for whatever we're using them for. Newtonian gravity is useful in a lot of applications but we knew for a long time that it wasn't correct, for instance.
