Who cares if their beliefs are off-putting if they're just beliefs and not harmful actions?

Joe, just offhand, do you know any Muslims, and if so, have they tried to kill you? Radical Islam is a problem, but not all Muslims are violent killers. To suppose that is silly. This shouldn't be a battle of Christianity vs. Islam vs. Judaism, which one is best? Everyone is entitled to their own spiritual beliefs. Being Muslim does not make someone automatically a bad person.

That would be hard to do in reality. When a lunatic that's Christian kills people, they aren't automatically identified as Christian. When a lunatic that is Muslim kills someone, it's always pointed out they were Muslim. Not all Muslims are out to kill infidels.

The Bible teaches that writhin the geography of Israel there were strict moral rules and that those rules were confined to that people group and were not to be imposed on other nations or enforced outside its borders. The rules applied to all sexually deviant behavior, or just homosexuality.

The difference is, the Bible teaches against the white supremacist agenda where as the Quran teaches the agenda of radical Muslims. Huge difference there don't you think?

We've managed to interpret Christianity in a way to justify capitalism, you can interpret any religion to fit your desired perspective.

Homosexual behavior was viewed as deviant by most of the world up until recent times. I’m not sure that how Africans or Muslims view homosexuality is really the issue. Saying African Christians or African Muslims do __________ to whatever group could have as much to do with the moral roots that precede these religion’s affect. What we need to do is look at the two central figures of each faith and see what they did and what they and their disciples taught.

God sent bears to kill children for mocking one of his prophets for being bald. A fundamentalist could use that to justify pretty horrible behavior (Charlie Hebdo, anyone?). There are too many passages like this to even know them all.
