Agreed. I mean, think about it… let’s test the waters and see if we can go 7-5 just to give Nico a game. That did wonders for Milton lol. And on that note, screw Milton. It’s not like he most likely will have helped us win 10 or 11 of the last 14 or 15 games. Season is over and now it’s all about Nico.Zero percent chance. Milton is starting the rest of the season.
If Nico doesn't start during the Vanderbilt game, I won't be too. suprised to see him transfer to Clemson and then things will begin to get real ugly around the program.
lol… right. Coach didn’t play me against Vandy. So, even though he has plans to start me for the next 4 years if I want to stay that long and an NIL worth millions.l, I am going to Clemson where they have their own issues. If Nico doesn't start during the Vanderbilt game, I won't be too. suprised to see him transfer to Clemson and then things will begin to get real ugly around the program.
Totally agree with everything you said. Also, it seems like he's trying to throw 100 mph fastballs on all these short crossing routes just to try to impress everyone with his arm strength. His accuracy leaves much to be desired. Nico plus a couple of Top WR recruits will do wonders for this offense next year; assuming those Top Recruits are still committed to the VOLS. This type of loss may make some of our recruits reconsider. I sure hope not. GO VOLS.I’m done with Milton. He doesn’t throw the ball downfield, doesn’t throw a catchable ball. Regularly trash talks defenders as he’s trotting off the field after a 3 and out. Been in college for 6 years, can’t figure it out. Get the 24 year old out of there and let the future get some reps.
Are you serious bro ? After everything you watched yesterday and you come to the conclusion Milton is the problem ? Our all world RB played like sh1t and completely gave away any momentum we had with his soft fumble. The puck six was all on Joe yes. However Sampson was not where he was supposed to be on the fumble. Joe played ok. We got beat. Defense sucksI’m done with Milton. He doesn’t throw the ball downfield, doesn’t throw a catchable ball. Yall acting like the season is over and lost because we won't win the east are delusional, entitled, spoiled children. We were not going to win the east with a make shift oline..and a new receiving core, new QB..not even mentioning defense struggles..you all play to many video games and think that is real life and how the game is played
.get over yourselves... the team played hard... they played poorly....I feel bad for our players that have fans the run them down constantly then have the never to say we are the greatest fan base...smh
So you want his 1st start against GA?
Yea makes perfect sense!
Your expecting Nico to play at the same or higher level as Joe....tough ask...sonlet me ask you this. You'd rather go 7-6 with Nico then 9-4 with Joe???I’m not spoiled. Heupel has a chance to get a jump start on the 2024 season and the Nico Era. There is literally nothing to play for now that we have been officially eliminated from the East. Not using the next 3 games to get guys who will be around next year reps and on film would be a mistake.
Simply put, would you rather finish at 8-5/9-4 with Joe or Nico? Joe, I love the guy, starting the remainder of the games does nothing to help the future. Atleast Nico playing gets him experience against a top tier team and working with guys he’ll be surrounded by next year.
If we somehow finish 8-5 and Nico hasn’t started any of the final 3 games, the environment of the program will be much different than us finishing 8-5 with Nico having 3 starts.
He’s not Bambi… this notion he needs to be wrapped up like bubble boy is absurd.
Yea let’s get him killed with an injured line and no receivers left!Yes. Having a big time game at home where there will be zero environment / noise issues is a pretty good asset. He’s going to play against top teams sooner or later. This notion that a bunch of you fans are scared and want to delay the inevitable is mind boggling.

Which recruit ls better. 7-6 and 4 straight losses tonend the season. Or 9-4 withal Bowl win??? Experiance is great but the season is not lost..there is more riding on a strong finish then getting Nico experiencedI’m expecting Nico to get experience in the final 3 games that are meaningless to our season now that any real goal can’t be reached.
I have stuck by and loved Joe as the starter but there is zero actual logic or reason for him to start the final 3 games when there is nothing to play for of significance. Heupel loves Joe and I 10000% get it. But Joe should focus on his NFL prep and Heupel needs to turn the page on 2023 as there is literally nothing to play for.
We have already locked in a bowl game at 7-3, we are eliminated from the SEC East at 7-3…. These final 3 games are basically exhibition. Get the guy who will be our starter for 2024/2025 EXPERIENCE on film and roll into the offseason. Instead of just assuming all will be well at opening kickoff in 9-10 months from now.

I don't think he'll start at all this year unless Joe gets injured....which against UGA is a serious concern. Still, one would assume that he'll get some action in the last 3 games of the season. Now maybe you don't want to expose him against the UGA behemoth, but against Vandy and perhaps the bowl opponent, I think you need to get him into the action. What's going to be interesting is how Heupel will respond when Nico struggles due to his inexperience then Heupel uses that as an excuse. Likely as well as a fart in an elevator. If Nico doesn't start during the Vanderbilt game, I won't be too. suprised to see him transfer to Clemson and then things will begin to get real ugly around the program.
