Milton is equal to JG, but with Heupel coaching Milton, people think he is better for some reason. Bet Heupel could have made JG look serviceable too.The Milton and JG comparison are lunacy. I had no issues with Milton starting as it was a long shot we would win the division this year. Now that we are officially eliminated, it’s time for Heupel to start prepping for 2024. There is nothing left to play for this year with Milton as starter. Nico, plenty to play for now.
THIS IS IN NO WAY JOE MILTON'S FAULT. ANYONE THAT THINKS SO DOES NOT KNOW FOOTBALL. THE DEFENSE LOST THIS ONE.I’m done with Milton. He doesn’t throw the ball downfield, doesn’t throw a catchable ball. Regularly trash talks defenders as he’s trotting off the field after a 3 and out. Been in college for 6 years, can’t figure it out. Get the 24 year old out of there and let the future get some reps.
Problem I had with the 33% of his missed were WRs with space that were game extending drives and those 33% were his typical inaccuracy of high/low/behind/way out front.Milton was 22/34 for 267 yards, 1TD and the pick 6. He also ran for 36 yards. If that is the definition of 'suck' then Brady Cook was puckered up as well. (18/24 275 1 and 1) Our total rushing tonight was 86 yards. Shrader had 207. THAT was the problem. Misery shut down our run game. We couldn't stop theirs.
The absolutely abysmal things we did tonight were allowing them to get back in the game when we had them pinned on their own goal line. THAT is unsat.
He led our team to a whopping 7 points against (checks notes) Mizzou.Joe is far from mediocre, I don’t think there is a more physically gifted QB in football this year. He might not be inspired but his is not mediocre
Doesn’t that kind of thing always seem to be a problem ? There’s more to playing football than being a good athlete - even a great athlete.Schrader's performance just highlighted how weak our on the field effort was today. That kid is a tough son of a gun and plays his butt off. I'd love to have a guy like wearing orange. Heck, we need several more "tough" football types on both sides of the ball.

Hit a few of those and we extend drives and keep D on sidelines.
