We rarely keep contain. That is concern number 1 going into this gameNeed to adopt the same mentality Marcus Freeman said he tried to instill in Notre Dame yesterday against Army’s option offense: violence. Don’t sit back on your heels and let them confuse you with motion. Attack, attack, attack. Run through blocks. Keep contain. Big test for our linebackers, but the big uglies up front can make it easier on them by winning the los.
Played for a quarter at GA. Then failed to adjust. More on coaching than players imo. No I don’t think we looked great at OK. We played a terrible OK team at the time. We have looked very flat for halves at a time on the road, at home even. Not sure why people want to argue that.So you don’t think they were ready at ok, and ga ?

Bama was home…… we scored 7 after the 1st quarter at ga. 0 after half. To think that’s anything other than not great is “dumb”. If our offensive showing is that of either of those games, defense for that matter at GA, playoffs will be a short run. Argue all you want but Vandy nearly scores what we do per game in the SEC. Let that sink in. Our offense hasn’t found a rhythm. You can justify with orange emotions all you want, I prefer to do it with what we’ve proven over the last 12 weeks. We’ve yet to play a complete game 12 weeks in. I hope we put together this week. Hitting stride at the right time is always important. Now’s the time. They were ready to play in both of those games, I think that was the argument. Ok still sux, bama might not agree. To say they were flat against ga or ok is just dumb.
OU was not at full strength when we played them. They had a lot of injuries already, mostly receivers I think. We beat OU handily when they were full strength. Bama got blown out at OU when they had 5 WR on injured list. I think Bama would take the sound win we got in Oklahoma. If Vols cannot get up for last game of year vs a team that is Bowl eligible and beat Bama and took Texas to a 3 point game, we don't deserve the Playoffs plain and simple.
