its a higher rate in the mountains...also its highly likely that they're related! Stokes is a very bright young man..who will hear about all the racists like you..My close friend son committed to play football there..hope he only comes in contact with the fans from the 21st century, I refuse to believe all UT fans are like you! I would like for "some" of our players to sign with UT..it is beautiful over there.

I fail to see how that is racist. Unless subliminally he said "the high African American population in Memphis causes them to have a high illiteracy rate".

And the insults thrown Chris Jones way...horrible! He will be one of the best players ever to wear orange and white..and he will qualify to play..but he does has issues! CCM seems to have a feel for Chris and I'm glad he re-committed after the coaching change..shouldnt blame Chris for some of the problems he's had in the past.

I bet there are as many racists in Shelby County as there are in Knox County. You are right about it being awesome to experience the beauty of East TN after living out west, though!

Junkie, come interact with us as much as you would like. Its always good to have differing opinions, but don't mistake a lot of our fans hatred for Memphis has anything to do with skin color. It is a rival city for us... at least on the hardwood anyway.

Go Vols!!! Cam is gonna be a stud for us I am sure of it and Dooley LOVES him some TE's!!!

I feel you, i dont think its all color..that's why i apologized to the respectful. I hooped so I love the hardwood rilvary..I hope it continues. Cam has been working out, he's huge! Can't wait to see him out there, so proud of him.

Witch Doctor say study your history the first anti-slavery paper published in the "colonies" was in Jonesboro, Tn. in 1772 and by the way East Tennessee fought for the North in the Civil war. Witch Doctor say ignorance sounds sweet on sports board trying to a get a rise out of people..Witch Doctor like the mountains as the people dont have inferiority complexes.

East Tennessee is one of the least racist places I've been, especially in the south. Most of Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, and yes New England are more racist.

We've always put in the effort and we had success as Cal turned his back on local Memphis players for the Diploma Mill kids and other 1 & Dones.

I think CCM should take a good look at Martavius Newby. He could be a 2-sport all-state performer this season. Big-time safety and a beast on the hardwood.

On another note, SIAP, Jarnell Stokes worked out with Cam Clear for Coach Martin today. Great sign, and I'm glad CCM is making Stokes a priority.

I'm feeling good about this one.
