Stokes said he wants to play for a winning team and not a team where he's the main guy.
Sounds like his 3 may change.

We need Stokes IMO. Not that we couldn't pursue other avenues for help in the frontcourt, but Stokes would really be an amazing grab for us.

I love hearing kids getting up and working out before their parents. Especially when they are already sweating before the sun comes up. Sounds a lot like a TH type work ethic and that can be contagious in the locker room.

Especially if we can bring in Chris Jones after one year at JUCO instead of 2. With McRae and possibly one of the diamonds in the proverbial rough coming to fruition he wouldn't have to carry the team as a frosh.

Assuming Jones is going to JUCO due to failure to qualify, he has to stay there until he graduates before he can play D-1 ball. UT will have to wait 2 years for him.

Wasn't Dodson a JUCO sophmore last year at UK? I think he was but I'm not 100% sure.

LOL...true..is that where all the "undo" pressure comes from. Him at the University of Memphis makes me think he will sign with them.

That's where he can play the highest level of competition and work to improve his game. Do you expect him to be at the Y playing against 30 something year olds in goggles?

Tennessee's chances to get Stokes all but ended when Forbes left. Had he gotten another D-1 assistant's job somewhere, that school would have been on Stokes' list.
