Stokes and Poythress 6'7, 205
Damien Wilson and Jordan Adams from the same school are both also interested in TN.
Archie Goodwin, Twymond Howard....the Vols are in play for some big names.
I would expect that in 2012 we will sign 3 and Stokes and Poythress are very possible as 2. We should have a top 10 class.
http://recruitingspotlight.wordpress.com/jarnell-stokes/I haven’t narrowed my list down but I have a very strong top six. They are Arkansas, Memphis, Florida, Tennessee, UConn and Kentucky.
From the editor of Stokes blog tweets sounds like the Memphis out front theory is incorrect.

There it is if you want to read it.
He's simply listing the teams that he is favoring.

I've read that one. A new one comes out sometime tomorrow.
His editor says he's not as high on Memphis and everyone thinks, and he threw out a hint that said: Arkansas fans should be happy
His new blog post is out.. He did announce his decision to transfer to Oak Hill.
If anything, sounds like Arkansas has the edge right now. I personally don't think he goes to Memphis, but I may be wrong. We'll see. I'll root for him anywhere he goes, sounds like a great young man.
The next school I want to talk about is Tennessee because at first I was a little low on them but now after talking to that coaching staff, I can pretty much say that theyre a bunch of cool guys and they understand me really well. I had a long talk with head coach Cuonzo Martin and I was just amazed that he understood everything I was going through. He also played in the NBA so he knows what it takes to get a guy to the pros.
I guess reasonable minds may differ from reading that blog. I think it looks good for the Tigers, he literally says: "Another thing I want to mention real quick is that I want to stay home, but if I do stay home it will be a business decision, meaning Ill go to whatever college Im going to go to because its the best option for me as a basketball player and student-athlete."
There's just going to be too much pull for him to stay in Memphis. He's training with our players, playing pick up games all the time, working out with our strength and conditioning guy, getting 40 tweets a day from our players. Easterwood has been calling this one for 5 months.
Arkansas will be just fine under Anderson without Staokes, trust me.
It also allows Stokes to play with Memphis (verbal) commit Damien Wilson. Though Stokes knows plenty about Memphis so unless Wilson and Stokes form a good bond, I am not sure there is a big benefit for Memphis regarding the transfer to Oak Hill. While I still think he will come back to Memphis to play, I would think that getting him out of Memphis gives for his senior year gives Arkansas and Tennessee at least a glimmer of hope.
