Jay Graham to FSU (merged)

i am sick of losing seasons here, i will still cheer for the vols, but will not support the coaches at all if they can't come up with a winning season especially since they are the greatest staff in america. graham wanted to be the recruiter but jones said nope here's you alittle more money and some fancy title. fsu told graham he could recruit so there he went.

Graham is not recruiting material. Did you ever talk to him or listen to him in an interview...:whistling:

Money
Get away
You get a good job with good pay and you're okay
Money
It's a gas
Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash
New car, caviar, four star daydream
Think I'll buy me a football team

I'm not mad at Jay for leaving, but lets not act like he was a home run hire here. We struck out on every single RB recruit. J. Lee landed in our laps bc of injuries.

Why are people pissing and moaning about this? I have long believed JG was not an elite recruiter..Id say hes a fair recruiter.

I've heard a lot of rumblings that a lot of this decision was based on the sole fact Jay was having lots of trouble recruiting under UTs new academic standards. I truly believe Jimmy Cheek and Dave Hart are forcing UT to become something they can't. Stanford and such don't play in the SEC so their academic standards don't effect their athletics as much as it would if they were in the SEC. Just my two cents.

Not possible. Clowns here need a scapegoat, so blame it on Dooley and Butch please. It can't have to do with money demands, performance, opportunity, academic factors, location factors in regards to recruiting base, etc.
Fare sumbody!

Thanks.

Interesting. Disappointed, but I don't think it is as devastating as some here think it is.

I suspect we will the position very quickly with someone who is as good as Graham. Would love for it to be someone with UT ties, but obviously I think we woudl want someone with a strong knowledge of the SEC and get on trail yesterday.

But we got Omari in when Florida couldn't? Or wouldn't? Not being a smart ass, just curious.

When are the sheeples going to realize Hart and Cheek need to go? This program will continue to be a joke until we get serious about football and that won't happen until those two clowns are gone.

Why stop there? Cheek answers to the board of Trustees.

The BoT answers to the governor.

Since your all about helping us sheeples...

Those rumblings are the mcgriddles you had for breakfast.

"Stanford and such don't play in the SEC" - well said Jethro.

You don't think there is a problem there, then you're beyond help.

What are you gonna do about it, slick? March on down to Hart's office and burn a mattress?

No, you don't know what to do, and you don't know what your talking about...but don't let that stop you.
