P. R.

He can say whatever he wants, but I think the truth would be best, and if the truth reflects poorly on him, he can take the chance to say he feels bad about it and say he's glad that both he and America has done a lot of changing in the past 60 years.

You're really on one ITT

And that's the problem with this country, we are forced to answer to idiots. The guy was 14 and it was a big event at his school, it's perfectly reasonable as to why he would have been there.

You called me a clown and have responded to the same post now 2x, and it's pretty clear you don't understand my position.

I have not said anything bad about Jerry Jones in relation to this photo. I am just saying it doesn't look good on the surface. I am not saying those people would be right. I am saying Jerry Jones doesn't want these problems.

Try as I might, I can't get any of that through the thick skull of the man who is calling me a clown.
You say it is bad optics. My first question in here was "context"...

No no, everyone in that picture must answer to why they were in a picture. It doesn't matter that he's off to the side standing behind the media guys with cameras just looking. He is immediately suspicious according to whiny lebron.

Force?

Yeah, that's the problem with America, LOL...the only idiots we are "forced" to answer to are in public office and public employees.

You are acting as though the 80 year old JJ went out looking for these problems or should have to answer to a photo taken decades ago as a teenager.

Again, this is just as silly as the Kyrie retweet nonsense.

How am I acting like that?

All I see are clown posts coming from the guys throwing that insult around.

No I don't care, he was 14.

LOL, then why spend so much energy arguing about why he's there in the first place?

Jerry Jones plays by different rules because of who he is, what he owns, and how much $ he has. Most of the time this works in his favor. In this case, it probably means he should speak on it, whereas maybe a normal person who lives by different rules wouldn't feel compelled to. To be clear. I am not saying any of this is fair. It just is. I don't think you should be shedding so many tears for him over it, tho.

You openly acknowledge that people will make judgements about JJ today based on a photo taken of him as a teenager 70 years ago. Then, you say the people that make these judgements should be taken seriously. That is why I called you a clown... no, they should not be taken seriously. That is where we differ.

Stop saying "acting like" to me because what follows are complete fabrications. You're inferring BS that I am not saying.

PR firms are still playing by the old rules of getting out in front of stuff and taking a reconciliatory tone. The blue haired mob won't care about any explanation or apology. They'll want blood no matter what. JJ should just ignore it until he can't and then tell everybody to f*** off if they ask him about it.

It really isn't that hard to understand.
You asked if it mattered if he was there to protest as a 14 year old.

So should teenagers be held to the same standards as adults?

No. And in no way did I imply this. You're completely incapable of hearing me right now.

Me: It's not a great look.

You: Are you really advocating for treating minors like adults?

Me: ?

Shedding tears? Let's be clear, I don't care about JJ it's the simple idea that ANYONE would need to answer for simply being in a photo at school when they were 14 is the problem.

You: It's a bad look
Me: According to who?
You: Some people may think he was there to protest
Me: So what? He was 14 years old. So now are we going to hold minors to the same standard as adults?
You: ?

What part of Ras' statements don't you understand? You're railing against Jerry Jones because he was in a picture when he was 14 years old.

Not only that, but he is giving credibility to the people that would take a picture and jump to conclusions.

Let's say it's fair to recognize that there indeed are people in the world that can/will look at that picture and fabricate a narrative in their heads where they see "a bad look". I think that's been your stance.

What people are being dismissive about is that every single one of those people should be considered presentism driven racist idiots and at least ignored if not straight up told to pound sand.
