Plus Mac beat us and actually beat Kentucky this year and yet he's still losing his job before Jones does.

If Butch comes out and states in his presser that little green men from Mars came down and threatened to kill the team unless all the b!tching about Barbs chip dip doesn’t stop and then lies to the administration about the details of the encounter and said little green men THEN we are in a similar situation to UF.

But until Butch goes full retard a la Tropic Thunder it ain’t happening.

Thats exactly how you do it as an AD. The media was tiring of the Butch Jones mockery. We were run into the ground made a punchline, beat like a pinata until it burst. All that came out was more BS and situational football. No candy.

They moved on to Florida and Mac for one week. One week, as it was media including Finebaum were still defending Mac saying "We don't know the death threats aren't real."

So the full on tar and feather, fire and pitchfork lynching by the national media had barely even started on Florida. They saw it coming though, and looked at pitiful, ridiculous Tennessee as an object lesson.

We will NOT be a laughingstock of football like that.

And one shameful blowout, similar to the one that really started the mess in knoxville, and at the hands, or paws of the same dawgs. One slap to the senses of Florida and their program was all it took.

A few weeks ago everyone said, "There's no way Florida fires Mcelwain. No way. The only coach that brought a team to the SEC championship in his first two seasons. No way."

One blowout later, in a high profile game and he's fired for cause. No soup for you Jim.

No one in the media and fanbase is worried about his poor feelings or ridiculous crap like, "but, but if we treat this coach like meanies no one will ever come here to coach us ever again."

Because they don't have this strange and terrible loser inferiority complex that permeates the Vols, their fanbase and program.

Its alpha behavior 101. A beta says, "If I treat this girl like I dont appreciate and worship the ground she walks upon, why heck I may never get another girl again. So I better stick with this one and keep kissing her butt, even though she is bad and treats me wrong, I can't do that to her I gotta be sweet and good so other girls know that I'm a keeper."

An alpha treats them however they deserve and don't worry about what other girls think, because he knows dumping an inferior B!tch on her ass is just what alphas do. The other girls see that respect it, and come crawling saying, "I can be a better b!tch than than that last loser ho."

He has coached his last game at Florida. Randy Shannon is interim coach.

Here’s how this works;

Florida: we are firing you ‘with cause,’ we don’t intend to honor the buyout.

Sexton (Mac’s agent): we want full buyout.

Florida: we won’t pay full buyout. Our lawyers will be in touch.

Three weeks later; a negotiated settlement is reached and all parties part ways.

Word out of Gainesville is that McElwain may have been in contact with UT officials sometime between the UT-UF game and last weekend about taking over for Butch. McElwain had to create a situation in order for that to actually happen. That situation happened on Monday and his death threat comment was actually a well planned trigger to create this chain of events. McElwain was actually quite distressed that Franks and Cleveland went rogue on the last play of the game. We were always curious about his post-game demeanor that evening. Currie will likely make an announcement sometime before Wednesday now that he hasn’t his new coach.

First off, Randy Shannon was the one holding this team together and making them respectable, as I was stating at the beginning of the season. So, Florida's Interim situation is actually better then their HC situation. They have someone to turn to to finish out the season. Secondly, good chance they wind up with Randy Shannon as head coach if he finishes out the year strong. Third, if they hire a new coach, he will be in the middle of the season and have to wait until the end of the season to make any announcements or hire assistants etc.... just like everyone else.

If Florida, our rival, fires their coach and gets their man hired and we are still sitting here with Butch, Currie needs to be fired on the spot. No excuse for that.

Kinda hard to relax when your 5* #1 recruit is visiting Clemson because our AD doesn't show any interest in changing this mess.
