It's apples and oranges between the Florida situation and the UT situation. They were able to fire him immediately with cause basically getting out of the buyout. If Tennessee could have fired Butch Jones with cause and got out of the buyout, I'm sure he would have been gone by now.

There is one thing to consider here: Florida just canned a guy that won the east twice. Some coaches won't want to go there because the leash is too short. I'm sure this has been mentioned in this thread before, but I didn't want to dig.
