Jim Tressel resigns

Pryor showing up for the team meeting driving a 350Z with temporary plates.....arrogant or retarded...

Pryor, for sure, has played his last game at Ohio State. Fair? Probably or maybe not completely. Fair has nothing to do with it. It just is.

WKNR reports that Pryor showed up at the team meeting yesterday driving a Nissan sports car - WITH TEMPORARY PLATES. We all love his talent, but how, with all that is going on, could he do that?

I wonder what suggestions he (Pryor) had during the meetings about the situation.:birgits_giggle::):loco::eek:lol:

Exactly.

Tressel's Swaggart-esque piety is grotesque.

Been that way for years. He's left two programs in the toilet, no one ever seems to mention Youngstown. I hope he gets a 5 year show cause.

The lockout didn't stop the first draft. Pryor did not cost Tressel his job. Tressel did.

There is no supplemental draft. And yes Tressel was stupid but it was both of their faults. Pryor will and should be blamed for his part. The osu fans aren't going to turn on Tressel. They will turn on Pryor.

Then they're stupid. He's as snake-like as possible. Makes Pearl look like a preacher.

I only said there is talk of a supplemental draft. This is MUCH MUCH deeper than Pryor's 350Z. When this all comes down, they will be burning sweater-vests in Columbus.

How do homers weigh in? I like Jack but he's too close to be real about it. What's he going to do admit his sweater in chief screwed big red?

I was watching Jim Rome earlier and his guest made a really good point. He said Tressel reminded him of the warden from Shawshank. A fraud. A man who walks around reading bible verses and then turns around and blatantly cheats and then lies about it to benefit himself. The fact that it is now feasible to believe the extent of this going back nearly a decade only validates that. This wasn't just a handfull of players. Tressel was a fraud, indeed, and I'm glad he's gone and will likely never coach a college game again. And for the sake of their still obnoxious fans who seem to be more oblivious to reality than ever, I hope the NCAA hits them twice as hard as it did USC.

Sweater vest is certainly a fraud. He likely made some sound investments with all that cash he made. Enjoy the vacation Vest.

Well I can't argue with you on that. Only thing is he has done way more for osu than Pearl did for us. My point is Tressel is forever god like there. IMO he is a total fraud. But Pryor will be blamed. And he he deserves his share.

If I recall correctly OSU fans ran Herbstreet out of town over some comments he made about Pryor and the program. They will certainally turn on SV when all of the facts are put on display.

comments on ESPN this morning from students and anonymous athlethes, were supportive of Tressell, and blaming a "few idiot" athlethes

ESPN announcers pulling the race card makes little sense. CJT has been axed and lost close to 4 million a year (that's 20 mil over 5 yrs) and TP lost 5 games. If I were an OSU fan, and thank goodness Im not, I would be equally pissed at both of them.

Former Buckeye LB says he was offered a car

“Somebody actually offered me a car and I said no,” Rolle told Smith. “I bought a 2002 VW Jetta in ’09 and someone offered to give me another car, a better car, and cheaper, and being the type of a person I am I said no to it because I wasn’t raised to do something like that.”

He didn't take it but damn, more players coming out everyday saying it happened to them also.

So far everything seems to be regarding players that were already in school, right? I'm interested to see if anything comes out as far as recruiting.
