Fisher is really not that bad.. Yeah he lost to florida.. but so did 10 other teams.. FSU had 5 turnovers.. Cant put all that on the coach. 10-2 tons better than 5-7..He has also has not lost to florida 8 years in a row like we have. Now fisher probably wouldnt be my first pick but we could do a lot worse.

Hahaha, yes, Saban had nothing to do with that. Every FSU, UF coach ever has pulled amazing talent every year. What a coincidence that Florida is one of the top 2 high school football states. Fisher has underacheived at FSU even though it's in the ACC, and there is no reason to believe he could pull better classes in a talent poor state and have more wins in a MUCH harder conference.

Jimbo's at his first job, and averaging just under 10 wins a year for his first 3 seasons. We have been begging to get to 8 wins since 2007. Sounds like FSU has a better coach than we had the previous 3 years. UT fans don't have the right to dog anyone who's been winning in the ACC over the past 5 years.

How bad Dooley is has nothing to do with the FACT that Jimbo has under achieved at FSU. He's had top talent and still loses in a weak conf. NC State beat them this year and UT BLEW NC State out!!! Hell they struggled against a terrible VPI team this year.
If you can't admit he's under achieved then you're just either blind or have a very poor sense of judgement.

He also lost to NC State. Every year he's had the most talented team in the ACC and still finds ways to lose. This year he had the most talent in the ACC by a landslide and yet he STILL found a way to lose to NC State. He is a classic under achiever.

Jimbo has under achieved in a weak conf while having the most talent in said conf. His talent edge this year is ridiculously greater than any other team in the ACC and yet again he found a way to lose to a lesser team. He's done it every year.

With the messages coming from the boosters, the Knoxville media about the Gruden deal being dead, I honestly believe that Jimbo Fisher may very well be named the next coach at the University of Tennessee in a little over a week from now.

Averaging top 10 recruiting classes in a talent laden state, but has not won the ACCC.

Just got curb stomped by the 5th or so best SEC team.

Only 3 years HC experience.

IMO he is a promising up and comer, but neither the established winner nor the "splash" that we need right now.

Florida is the 3rd best team in the SEC.

If ND had lost last night, Florida would have been playing for the National Championship.
