He's not leaving the acc . He's been a recruiting demon there though along with his running backs coach who was the same here under kiffin . Forgot his name but he was the first to bail out that year. I don't think he liked working for jr much.

Went to the VaTech vs FSU game Thursday. Got all the FSU fans pissed, when they started the "F-S-U" chant, I started chanting "Free Shoes U". Then tell them their "coaches name is Jimbo, you have no argument". Good times

He can't win with superior talent? They are 9-1 and have destroyed Florida the last 2 years.

For some reason, I though that might appeal to some Vol fans.

No way he leaves FSU for Tennessee. He would have to actually leave campus to recruit if he came here. Also in the last 3 years he has lost several times when FSU was double digit favorites. He is one of those "coaches in waiting" that I think the jury is still out on.

Actually I read somewhere (could be bs) on another board that Auburn was interested in CJF and that he was having internal issues at FSU

Jimbo was promised facilities and more money backing from the AD/Powers above and is not getting that at all.

Jimbo would be a Mark Richt style fit here.

Plus not happy with the ACC feels like his team gets no respect in that conference. He moves to say a Tn or Barn he don't hafta worry bout the BCS..

Boosters in Tally don't like him for whatever reason...Typical "coach following a legend." He is a lights out recruiter and FSU is better- but he has lost some ridiculous games- i.e. NC State this year.

THe FSU Ath. Dept has money problems and have put on hold the plans for their indoor practice facility.

Jimbo would be interesting here.. Kinda on the fence with him. Someone stated Richt jr. I could see that, the last few years I would take Mark Richt seasons..

FSU wasn't exactly lighting it up before he took over. Heck of a recruiter. I wouldn't complain with that hire at all.
