My bet is he is fishing for a raise, he really has it made there. Recruiting hot bed, easy schedules, and the fan base is less temperamental than volnation (they have lost one or two gimmes for so long it's ingrained in their psyche).

Gruden is the prize, fisher would be a awful nice consolation, and golden not exactly a bad hire either. It's almost a given that the next TN coach will have came through the state of FL.

Jimbo hasn't done much to impress while at FSU, have they even won the ACC while he has been there?

I base this upon the Petrino premise, Franklin can work with what he is given. But he's a douche and I think TN can do better, feel the same way about Bobby P.

Better than Golden or Smart. Probably as good or better game day coach than Richt. Not a superstar, but acceptable.

You couldn't be more off-base. He's gotten EVERYTHING he's asked for. Indoor Practice facility is underway. New Player dorms just announced. He got to re-build FSU the way he wanted with relatively little push-back.

I would be happy with a Jimbo Fisher hire. He would bring the fuel to the UF-UT rivalry. I just hate the fact that he was another Saban assistant.

He has a good chance at beating UF 3 in a row. FSU is 9-1 with a top 5 final ranking possible. Go look at FSU's record over Bobby Bowden's final 10 years and tell me more about how unimpressed you are with what he has done in 3 years...
