OWNS Florida? Heck,everyone besides us OWNED Fla in 10&11! I gaurantee you he will not beat the Gators this year or the next or the next...He lost to NC St!!! Please no more Fulmer clones! We need a young,energetic coach like Franklin. With the $ we`d save,he could hire an all-star staff. He`s proven he can recruit&win at Vandy!! Vandy is 4-3 in Sec. And will be 5-3 after Sat. We need to steal him before someone else. Go Vols

Not sure WHY Jimbo's name keeps coming up here...He is not leaving FSU...I guarantee you he will not leave there to coach UT or auburn or anywhere else...He waited for years to get that job and he's got it made there....Do yourselves a favor and eliminate his name from this board forever...Besides the bum can't even beat NCST...Hell even Dooley did that.

If someone suggested Jesus Christ as the head football coach and proposed that he would bring divine intervention to bear on behalf of the Vols half a dozen idiots on this site would say:

"no head coach experience"
"not inspiring enough"
"not a big name"
"too old, past his prime"
"can't recruit"
"doesn't have killer instinct"

Smh.

Even Saban is 9-1 this year. Sometimes losses happen.

If a coach who has already turned around one fading superpower and led them back to relevance, despite the fact that ESPN won't pimp them because of their conference, hand him the keys.

He won't leave FSU. Not happening and it would be dumb if he did IMO. He'll make just as much money there, more established now, recruiting is easier....so on and so on

From what it seems like a contact has been made to Jimbo Fisher and he has shown interest. Wants to bring his own staff !! But he won't be here until FSU plays bowl ..and Dave wants him right after last game of the season so we can hold on to recruits and get some momentum !!
I know I am gonna get blasted for links and sources but lets put it this way..believe what you want !! FYI Gruden has shown no interest in college job. From what AD office has to say he has clearly said he isn't coming to TN or going to any other college !!

I hope Jimbo Fisher deal works out !!

Sources or no sources, is logical considering Hart's obsession with Nick Saban and his coaching tree. Would have no qualms with the hire.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Dave Hart instrumental in putting Fisher in the HC position? Didn't Dave Hart help push Bobby Bowden out at FS? Seems to be a real possibility to me if Gruden says no.

This Gruden talk is making me nuts...he won't be the next coach of the Vols. Jimbo...now that could work.

Who do you think hired him as OC/QB coach-in-waiting at FSU? Dave Hart. Bobby tried to keep his son, Jeff there as long as possible. FSU steadily declined after Richt left.

First off I grew up an FSU fan, they are my second love. If jfisher came (and he won't because he has it made in the ACC and at FSU) but if he did you fall to your knees and thank baby Jesus cause he is a hellacious recruiter and a great coach.

Not happy with the ACC is what I've heard and the respect of the conference..
