What the President was asking for was perfectly legitimate. In fact the courts in Ukraine have since ordered exactly what Trump was asking them to do in his infamous phone call:

Obviously there's something unsettled here. It's not an impeachable crime to ask about something unsettled before spending taxpayer money

Like most presidents, I agree with some of decisions and disagree with others. The boorish behavior has done considerable damage to the reputation of the US around the world. It has also harmed the office and America in ways that will be felt for many years.

There is a nastiness to political discussions I haven't heard in my lifetime. I know people that are no longer friends because they are not on the same page politically. Obama really started the divide in this country, but Trump has embraced it and continued it. The little nicknames and just outright vindictiveness of Trump are not admirable qualities.

Biden didn't lose his cool. He stood his ground and gave it back to the guy and he didn't have to read from his phone to do it. Trump would have called security.

I love my presidential candidates to tell concerned voters their "full of $hit". "Don't be such a hores's a$$" And then try to walk away huffy.

Whether or not he was reading off his phone it's a valid concern. Biden couldn't handle it calmly.
