Joe Paterno is dead.

Good riddance. Sat on his old ass while innocent children were being abused in the worst way. No sympathy at all for him.... I hope as he burns in hell that he is forced to think of those children.

He reiterated that McQueary was unclear with him about the nature of what he saw—and added that even if McQueary had been more graphic, he's not sure he would have comprehended it. "You know, he didn't want to get specific," Paterno said. "And to be frank with you I don't know that it would have done any good, because I never heard of, of, rape and a man."

Joe Paterno Wants Us To Believe He Has Never Heard Of "Rape And A Man." Joe Paterno Is Full Of ****.

Oh yeah, not prevalent in today's culture at all. Not like the word "rape" or "fondle" or "showered" should have raised any warning signs at all.

This is where your great leader is full of ****. Great job taking responsibility coach. You're such a great man. Gag

It's funny and quite sad, no one here on VN has any clue As to what happened and what was said in the situation but are quick to judge. I hope others judge you so quickly and harshly as you judge others. May God have mercy on your souls.

You mean other than the stuff the POS admitted to knowing?

Sad day for college football. Let's just hope his conscience was clear.

if he had a conscience he wouldn't have kept the company of a grown man that molests little boys, he damn sure wouldn't turn a blind eye to it. he's an enabler, and just as guilty. i hope he burns in hell.

Who's leader?

Look, if you've known a man for 30 years that has been like a father to you, you would be shocked and saddened.
Me? I think Joepa allowed kids to be raped and it's freaking terrible. I am just putting myself in other's shoes, and I'm not telling people how they should feel, as you are.

Joe Pa was never charged with any wrongdoing in the situation, but you're pretty quick to judge. Thanks God.

Her admitted to knowing about it. What does being charged have to do with it? He had terrible judgement. Terrible. What if it were your kid?

Ron, what if he was your mentor and like a father to you? Imo, it would be a tough circumstance to deal with. And I'm not supporting him. Just trying to explain why some may feel different.

I get it if you are one of the players/coaches/employees that work with him.

After that, I don't understand how you can defend his "one mistake" as some are characterizing it.

I think we should have one of Jerry Sandusky's victims come on ESPN and see how he feels about this "great man".

Good idea. Balance the interviews. But, you know that all this week will be about praising jo the god of football and the high road stuff.
