When he was fired I told my wife that I bet he dies within a few months. Penn State football was all he knew. Similar to when Bryant retired, he dies just a few months later.

Joe was not fond of the Vols and it went back to the day we played a series with PSU and beat them. He vowed to never lose to us again and made good on that promise.

He was an icon of a coach but my faithfulness to the Vols outweighs my respect for him as a coach. He dissed our program so f__ him. And their fans are pricks too.
