It is well documented that Gruden was NEVER contacted about the UT job after Fulmer was fired and he was never contacted after Kiffin left..So where this he turned down UT time after time stuff comes from is beyond me...Troy Calhoun was Hamiltons next choice after Kiffin....He turned us down after Kiffin left.

It's not an excuse. It's my fear of what will happen. I tend to post what I think will happen, not what I want to happen.

Hope Hart knows his job is on the line too if things get worse and a change has to be made. Don't bring us another project coach , or you will be out the door when he fails as well.

I've said it before and it's not going to be a popular answer with most of you , but I'd rather just keep Dooley if we are going for Saban's clipboard holder (who has never coached a game) or somebody worse than that. We would just be right back where we are in 3 years IF Dooley can't get it done.

If Dooley doesn't make it I want Gruden cause of the hype factor. Not to mention I think he is a good coach. But we need to out recruit bama and lsu. Gruden' s name will do that.

It would be crazy to spend more money on recruiting than everyone else and then back that up with a cheap hire. With better timing and a better roster, I am optimistic that UT will spend what it takes.

Do people actually think Jon Gruden would come coach here? I've been playing along, but y'all are starting to sound serious.
