This proves my point. We're going to change coaches at some point and nothing will change here. Some will be happy, most will not.
Your point won't be proven unless we actually do change coaches and shoot low. I share the lack of optimism. Living way down here in Jax, I'm buying fewer tickets in 2013 unless we shoot high and hit, or whoever we do hire (or CDD) shows us something on the field. I'm done investing these long trips for a bad product.
I started a new business (went out on my own) so I cut back to one game this year.
Bama.
What was I thinking?
I have a ticket to the Georgia game and have since been invited to two large parties that day. I have decided to attend the game, as it will likely either be CDD's redemption game or a performance that would push us a lot closer to a change.
Barring an utter embarrassing loss (last night would've been considered one of the worst), I think Hart will give Dooley thru a 5th year (2014-2015 season) to see if he can get this program headed in the right direction as far as Wins & Losses is concerned (at least 8-9 wins). I think we'll give him a 4 year cycle so the team and its coaches are ALL Dooley's. If we have not pushed or are not pushing for a 9 win season in 2014 then it's time to abort operation Dooley.
I like Dooley, I really do, but I don't think he's the long term answer. I know, I know, stone me for being 999th person to say that. He's recruited fairly well and built some depth where we need it but it's the X's & O's, game day preparation and in-game adjustments that make me believe we'll be forced to go in a new direction in the near future.
So, you hope that CDD fails, correct?
