I'll believe it when I see it. He could have a number of NFL positions right now. Not sure the reasoning behind him going to the college game.

the rivals site for the U, barring any unforseen glitches, Jon Gruden will become the next head coach for Miami, and could be announced tomorrow.

I think it's a good hire. Pretty good X's and O's, loves what he does, great work ethic, I think he could recruit because of his pro background. What ya think?

I just don't see why he would bother denying interest if he was interested. It's not like he's trying to keep ESPN focused on some upcoming game. I think he'd do fine if he chooses to go to the U.

I know nobody gives a sht but the "he'll never leave Tampa" and "he has land in East Tennessee" comments are gettin' old...

So, is he going to 'da U' or not?

I doubt he goes to the U. He'll probably never leave Tampa. Even if he left Tampa, he already has land in East Tennessee. I think his wife was a UT cheerleader also.

And Jimmy Hyams, while eating with Phil Fulmer at Krispy Kreme, just reported that Smyrna HS WR Rod Wilks, who is NOT hung like a horse - rather - horses are hung like Rod Wilks, has verbally committed to the Vols.

Just heard this same thing while listening to the sports monster. If Miami pulls this off, they will have done what nobody else has been able to, and I will be shocked.
