He should not have made the trip if he was not going to take the job. Bad move as far as UT fans are concerned. We we welcome another day? Who cares, he will not make the difference between winning and loosing.

QB of the only nc team in my lifetime,can't trash the guy,wish he'd came home ,but it's his career and i wish him luck as long as sorry ass Kiffin gets the boot,and he will!!!

Smoke it off, 420. I'm sure he's getting paid well at USC, the weather is beautiful there and his family might prefer the life they have there. Not everyone lives their life only for UT football. The Vols will hire someone else and roll on hopefully to SEC and National Championships.

You're upset with Tee, but maybe he was upset. Would you feel welcome if you were left at the airport to fend for yourself? SoCal offered him 500k/yr and we couldn't even meet him at the airport?!

Obviously didn't read the article. Butch is fresh on the campus. Dave Hart should've been there with roses, candy, and a car. IF he really wanted him.

That it's not a reflection on Jones is Basilio's personal opinion. It's not as if Jones had better things to do than meet his own coaching staff.

mmmmm ... call recruits ... offer the number 1 dual threat QB in the country? He met with Tee. It's Hart's job to powder his ass.

Anyway, I choose to be positive about the new coach and staff until I have reason to be otherwise.

Anyone bashing Tee over this decision needs to take the orange-colored glasses off. This program is not what it once was. The real problem here is Hart, Cheek, and Susan Martin. Tee is a VFL if there ever was one, and to throw around such hate over the QB that led us to our only NC in the last 60 years is crazy.

Unbelievable. I can't believe you think just because he played for UT he should take the job despite the fact it may not be the best thing for him professionally or for his family.

This would have been a lateral move, not a promotion. Get over it.

Well if he is a VOL FOR LIFE he should have not even checked it out if he wasn't really interested in order to not make the situation look bad. And trying to get an unrealistic salary offer qualifies as not really interested.
