Just saw on espn...

When it comes down to it Tee is pussywhipped

Right. Because he wanted his wife's input before making a decision to uproot the family and move across the country after only living in their current city for a year. Some of you people need to get some perspective.

I would love to see you do that in front of Al or one of the others. You would end up piddling in your pants.

I wouldn't tell al Wilson to go to hell. He doesn't seem quite as stable as tee. But I don't think al would kick out program while we're down either like tee did. Al is a vfl. Tee is a bfl. Just like lil kiffie

I damn sure would tell him to go to hell if I saw him. Why would I be afraid to do so? Do u think he would charge me throwing haymakers? And how is it obvious what type of person I am. If this whole situation doesn't piss u off you are not a true vol fan. Dude made a mockery out of us

You've got to be kidding me.

Really??? Man I never said I'd "punch" anyone. C'mon. You're being more dramatic than I am

My Mistake. I misread.......But this is still pretty idiotic to tell him to go to hell. Seriously? Gosh, you get angry like he stole your girlfriend or something.

Sandy vajayjay. Lol! And it's not a wr coach saying no. It's a guy we named a street after making a mockery out of us as publicly as possible

It's his fault some mouth breathers wearing UT Starter Jackets were at the airport in middle of the night waiting to throw their manties at him?

When the time is right, Tee shall return
Hopefully the time will never be right. He had his chance and he picked living with the enemy. Blast me all that you want but that's the way I feel. He picked Lane and the Trojans over his Vols. It is what it is but VFL it's not. I'm shocked that so many are making excuses for him.

I'm beginning to think that coaches may stay away from the fanbase due to the number of emotional basket cases disguised as vol fans.

We've been through a lot in recent years A very embarrassing rejection from someone we named a street after put me over the top today. I'll resume being rational tomorrow!

It's the guy that played a large part in you being able sport the 1998 national championship memorabilia that I'm sure you have. How was it a mockery? He listened to the offer & even came up listen first hand. That showed class imo. After discussing it with his family he decided it wasn't best at this time. He's got a lot to think about other than himself & a bunch of idiots on messageboards.

How has he screwed himself? There are far too many variables to know for sure why he did not come here.

Could have been a money issue, or not wanting to move cross country again, or perhaps he did not believe in BJs philosophy, what if he takes the job and then jones crashes and burns, he could be out of a job in two years here. Talk about being screwed.

From all the reports, money was not the issue at all.

Some people are immune to reason and logic. Some people live to promulgate a sour disposition. UT has everything going for it; Facilities, exposure, talent and now coaching... The only detriment I see is the demonstrative LUNACY from these fringe fans who live to poison the well in east tennessee. They do it with every venue they are given to spread their poisonous noxious oral flatulations.

Go to the doctor. If you are that upset, you either need a med, or have something happen that gives you perspective.
No sarcasm.

You do know that you are included in that group, right?

It's a business decision. You are thinking of it from a fans perspective. You have 0 information on why he decided to stay at USC with "the enemy". Maybe his kids like their current school, maybe his wife has started a job out there, maybe he just likes the state of California, maybe since they are a winning program he feels that he could be promoted or offered a higher position from another school, rather than come back here to participate in the "rebuilding" process. Staying at USC is a better career decision for the time being. Accept it. There are so many underlying factors that we just don't know and it is ridiculous how people think he should just never be allowed another opportunity to come back.

I don't like to say anything bad at all about our fan base. I think we have some of the best and most loyal fans in the country. But a classless remark is a classless remark.

Tee was an integral part of the team that brought us our last championship to Knoxville a mere 14 years ago. Yet people are ready to throw him under the bus at the drop of a hat because of this, of all things.

I know this is may be earth shattering for some, but Tee does a family and any rational person would base a cross country move around them.

The cross country move to California from Kentucky was no problem for him nor his family.
