CJ,I could see her as a force at a smaller school
she will be a force here when she adjusts to the game
Well, I don’t expect that the players she will have to play against are gonna get smaller and weaker, or slower, so she has a lot of work to do based on what playing time she has gotten so far. Agree with Volfan2012.Kellie related Karoline is a talented player and because of the position she plays still is adjusting to the speed of the game. She has also said in the past that the players are bigger and stronger than she is used to going up against. Be that as the truth I would still think she would be getting to a point where she could play since she is going up against Key and others for over half a season in practice. She was a top 50 player both Hoopgurlz and other services so you have to think she will eventually be a player we can depend on at least for a backup role in games.
Does she project as a PF or C in the college game? It was assuming she was the former, with the potential to play the 5 as needed. I don't think that she's going to be able to play the 5 regularly...maybe as a face up 5 to open up the paint for drives in a small ball lineup. I can't imagine her going up against the likes of Boston, Brink, Lee, etc.Kellie related Karoline is a talented player and because of the position she plays still is adjusting to the speed of the game. She is a four totally. She will need a center to be effective. I thought she had what it took to play like Green as she has a few good post moves and can hit mid-range shots. She is an excellent free throw shooter so being able to draw fouls like Green would mean a lot of trips to the line where she could rack up points. I don't think she will ever be able to guard a true five. I always thought she was a similar player to Green and wasn't playing because of Green. That proved to be totally wrong.Does she project as a PF or C in the college game? It was assuming she was the former, with the potential to play the 5 as needed. CJ,
Tbh, your initial eval of her was that she was “college ready” since she was signed. During preseason you predicted her for a large role, even stating the number of pts, reb’s etc she would put up. Those predictions were so high, many posters had to respond that they were outsized and you responded by lowering them just a tad. You stated many times she was the most ready for big contributions her freshman year…
So, understandable that some will want to wait and see for themselves in spite of your new and improved analysis. Here are the predictions you put on her:
14-16 minutes
8-10 Pts
6-7 Rebs
4-5 Assts
Not to mention, 4-5 assists per game (in 14-16 minutes no less) would be among top 5 in the conference. You had her getting an assist every 3 minutes of floor time….

CJ, Are you saying she should be playing more ? If so, why do you think she is not? I’m asking because I don’t know, from my seat I can’t see the reason. She doesn’t even get minutes in blowout games until the last minute or two, it’s confusing tbh.ACTUALLY...
they've played 24 games,,,
Karo has played in 16 of the 24 games 108 mins at 6.8 min pg, averaging 2.2 pts, 2.4 rebs and .125 assists.....if she did get 15 min per game for the 24 games,,,, based on her averages,,,her numbers would be: 6.25 pts, 5.28 rebs, 1.0 assts.

How is it wrong? You can't extrapolate her stats because she does not accumulate them playing against the other teams starters. That is a very simple concept.
Karo only goes in on weaker teams though. Can't extrapolate out accurately because of that factor. Hope she and Wynn both make a big sophmore jump.
