You aren’t going to get a much better player on your roster than Rickea Jackson. She hung 31 on FSU tonight, and it wasn’t enough. You can’t approach this game with a mindset that you will just trade baskets with the opposition and outscore them on the final play of the game. The roster is sufficient. The preparation is not. Defense is the game changer, and we aren’t effective at it. If Juju were here, she would get schooled on defense because it is not a priority in this coach’s system.

I don't agree with negativity,,but I do agree with your last statement/assessment....
We win the games we're supposed to and that's much better than Holly ever did for us.
But the next step is to win some of the games we're not supposed to or are considered equal to.
This IS the next step for Coach Kellie for me as well.
I would expect this of any coach who coaches for this university,,,ANY COACH!

We don’t have enough pure shooters. I don’t know why we don’t recruit more good quick ball handling passing shooters. Getting out quicked by the passing against Indiana. In fairness I didn’t get to watch a lot of tonight’s game, but the shooting and passing and ball handling of Indiana is superior to what we are doing.

Moore is not going to leave NC State and I doubt Kellie will get fired mid season. The longer this goes on the less likely any quality coach will come to Tennessee.

After Holly, I would’ve went a different route.

You don’t need ex lady vols to lead this program. Holy and now Kellie is proof of that. Just because you played for Pat doesn’t mean you can coach like her.

Not true. The way you hire away good, proven coaches is to offer them significant pay raises. The idea that someone wouldn't leave NC State or Va. Tech or another school to come to UT, with our tradition, if the money was right, is nonsense. You don't win in any sport at the major-college level anymore by being cheap.

We are where we are because we hired one coach who was not in the least qualified for the job, and then we followed that debacle up by making another lazy hire---a former "Lady Vol" who was coaching at Missouri State after being sacked by NC State. You get what you pay for.

Tennessee program and tradition is at the top of the pinnacle of WCBB.

They could hire any type of HC they want to. A proven winner, a young upcoming star, a professional coach from the WNBA.

If they invested in the search they could make a big time hire.
