Got two questions for hatvol.

1) Since you threw out suggestions as to what you would do instead of hiring "Doofus". Supposing you went the interim route as you suggested. Exactly how many good assistant coaches would be pounding down the door to work for a interim coach?

2) When exactly is tvolsfan gonna get off your sack? I stopped at 15 pages of this thread and it hadn't happened yet.

Let me know what you come up with.

I'm sure you used some excellent logic to come up with that. As I said, he doesn't need me to defend him, but I still think it's funny that people can't take his outlook for the program.

I don't think the program will get every hire right, especially given little time to do so. I'm just shocked that people can't argue that the hire was bad without getting described as extremely negative.

I guess this is the first of many 'recruiting national championships' for Kiffin and Co. I'm just glad he didn't leave us for another SEC school!

Regarding USC signee Seantrell Henderson, USA Today's David Moore writes that "Henderson's parents plan to move to Los Angeles to be near their son." Now, unless the Henderson's are in a special situation to be able to make such a move, how does one suppose that might be accomplished? The cost of living is substantially higher in the LA area, as opposed to St. Paul, MN. The job market is not exactly conducive to making a upwardly mobile move, as well. Yet, miracles DO happen, do they not? Would it not be astonishing to see the Henderson's "thrive" in their new surroundings? We all know that CLK is highly ethical, has vowed to run a clean program, and would never tolerate another Reggie Bush type situation at USC, right? Does anyone think that this move should be watched carefully....by someone?

Also...if you actually read the article I posted farther up the page, you'll have some perspective of what the '09 season was like at La Tech; a very young team, little depth, 22 starters that missed significant time throughout the season....yeah I'd say if Dooley was a better coach he could've overcome that.

Since your so sure of complete failure by UT and also confident in your predictions we have several options.

Are we going W-L next season, over/under W's on next season, over/under W's on next two, over/under on how long Dooley is coach?

I say you tell me the record you think UT will have next year and I will wager an amount on the over.

Keep in mind the schedule is brutal and Kiffin was only expected to win 7 at most. So really you should set it at like 4.5 or 5.5
