I’ve always been pretty casual as far as my investment in the Lady Vols. Watched their games always, taken kids to some, grew up when Pat was getting it going here. Never been as invested as I was with the men’s team, but always watched and rooted for them.

However, if DW brings in Becky Hammon, I’m seriously getting season tickets and will go back to taking turns taking each of my kids to games. The enormity of a hire like that would generate a lot of renewed or new interest imo.

I don't watch the LV a whole lot. If they're on I will but I don't go out of my way.

If you look at demographics, there are more men who are sports fans, particularly those who self-identify as avid, than women. Women's numbers are climbing in that regard and probably we will inside of a decade see equivalence.

Flipping it, I think it is a good sign that women's are drawing more men (and Dads who are likely bringing their daughters and perhaps sons to women's sports events).

You are spot on. Danny White is known for being very serious about privacy of these things and ensuring there are no leaks. I truly don’t think anyone knows, but I think the names people would want/presume to be top candidates are likely on his radar. This dude came to play, we’ve seen plenty of evidence of that. He’s not gonna trot out a Kara Lawson or a Molly Miller imo. No offense to them.

Agreed, Hammon would be the best splash hire this University has made in a long long time if it happens. I would purchase Cable TV if shes hired. I live in South West AZ so season tickets are out of the question lol.
