Gus's sign is now up and running. Inside was lit up and tvs going. Some cars outside.

If it's not currently open, it's damn close. (Their website says early Sept. No idea if they are doing a soft open and not advertising for a couple weeks or not)

In the comments, it says there is a "soft opening". For those that live in Knoxville, and have never eaten at Gus's, I highly recommend it. The best chicken in Memphis for sure.

We didn't like it much at all. It wasn't that it was over smoked, just didn't like the smoke flavor it had. Tasted like bad campfire smoke to me. Might have gotten a bad batch?

Gus's Fried Chicken in Knoxville grand opening is Sept 16, from what I've been told.

Not sure if they will be open before then. Rumor says soft opening may start Wednesday.

Tried Stock Burger on Sutherland this weekend.

Nothing special to see here. Not bad, but nothing great.

Onion rings are terrible. Fries were ok. Burgers were ok.

A little work and this could have been a really cool burger/neighborhood bar.

Honestly, I've never had a complaint on my handwriting. Never understood why a lot of docs resort to Sanskrit. Of course, irrelevant now, as it's all EHR.
