Huh? Aubrey's is 10 times better than O'Charleys.

So you are saying it's similar to O'Charley's as far as menu options? Well, I cant really disagree with that, but I think Aubreys food is still much better. The chicken tenders at Aubreys are delicious.Honestly, every time I've been there, nothing on the menu looks terribly exciting to me. It's better than O'Chucks, but they've needed a revamping of their offerings for years. The one in Farragut recently closed. It was about the first big restaurant in the area that I remember.
Just stopped at Rockys Jamaican sunrise in maryville on the way home today. You Can't miss the place just look for a small building with a paint of bob Marley. Pulled pork sandwich with their sweet BBQ sauce is the bomb. Mac n cheese was good too.
I felt my presence was needed. I'm not the poster you need, but the poster you deserve, Mr Cornholio.
My sister and I got a Southern Charm Burger from Red Robin last night. It's a Black Angus patty glazed with brown sugar and topped with candied bacon, honey BBQ sauce, sharp Cheddar, caramelized onions and mayo on a toasted ciabatta bun. We both got it without the BBQ sauce and cooked medium. Although fairly pricey at $13.99 it was an excellent burger. I'd recommend giving it a try and I think cooking it only to medium is key.
I'm not much of a fan of steak fries but their garlic herb fries were pretty tasty. Their french onion soup is on point as well.
Random question:
Does anyone know why Krispy Kreme in Farragut closed after only being open for 3 years?
I don't know but I don't like it being gone. Went there occasionally and was never unhappy, also never the only one there. Seemed to be doing ok to me.
Went to East Japanese Restaurant tonight near Campbell Station. Food is legit Japanese, made me miss Japan big time. Service is really not good though, but it is almost comical so if you go in knowing what to expect it is kind of fun in a soup nazi kind of way.
Read the reviews first and the consensus is the service is outright unfriendly but the food makes it worth it if you want actual Japanese cooking and not some hibachi place.
Yeah, service is "different." There's a weird chick that works a lot and does a fine job, just a little odd. I like the food a lot, though. Yoshi does a good job with (what I'm told is authentic) Japanese-style sushi.
Honestly, I prefer the trendy, eclectic American version of sushi, but I love their other Japanese fare.
Tried the new Gus's Fried Chicken on Sutherland. Not sure who the interior designer is but apparently they were short on $$$ and hit up the salvation Army Store.
Food was good, not out of this world. $28.50 for two, 2 piece dinners and bottled water served on a Styrofoam plate.
I think I'll pass next time.
