Diss anyone know anything about this Rosaritas Mexican Canitna in Turkey Creek (right beside Wasabi)?

Is this like upscale Mexican, or like good old fashioned dirty Mexican?

I have not been there but nothing seems to be able to stay in that location since Johnny Carino's left back in like '08.

Any particular budget or taste? For pub food I do like Carolina ale house. Pizza I like tomato head. Steak, I love Flemings.

Oh lawd! Not Carolina Ale House! What?! Bar food goes to Double Dogs in both quality and price.

+1 for not Ale House

Not to recommend the place I work, but KTown Tavern has some fantastic pizza and smoked wings. Burgers are great, too. And the dinner salads are huge with freshly cooked meats instead of chilled chicken or what have you.

How about a good BBQ joint?

I go with Sweet Ps on Jackson ave. Full Service is highly recommended but I haven't been there peraonally. I'm not a fan of dead end at all or Calhouns BBQ. Archers I can live with but the ribs aren't very good.

Archers is good stuff. Disregard BigDaddy's comment on Archers. I'd take their ribs any day. The Memphis sauce is good.

West Knox has a Full Service BBQ but looking like it'll be 2020 before it opens.

We went a couple weeks back and I was impressed. A little nicer than your run-of-mill Mexican, but I wouldn't call it "upscale." Family operated, the guac is made fresh, and the molcajete was very good

Tomato Head pizza is pricey and overrated, IMO. I'd go for Hard Knox for pizza. I like Sgt. Pepperoni's as well.

Best thing Tomato Head does is that killer peanut butter pie. I agree it is pricey.

I'm liking the votes I'm seeing for Archers. I haven't been there yet. Was it the one in Farragut someone was talking about where the food is great but the service is a bunch of teens who couldn't care less or something?
