Knoxville Restaurants

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but if it hasn't, Blaze Pizza is pretty good. I like it a lot more than Brixx. My boys and I ate there a couple of weeks ago, I got the White Top and they both got build-your-own pizzas.

The store itself is nice, but it needs some TV's up on the walls and when we were there, the patio was blocked off even though the weather was nice.

Lol!
I actually just assumed you all were closed during the renovations as well.

They did a terrible job of reaffirming that business would remain open for X amount of time. There will be a small window (week or 2) where we're closed. That'll not only be for the big renovation part, but also for retraining and training new staff, etc. During that time, though, the banquet area will remain functional for any parties on the books.

So I finally had Archers BBq. For a BBQ joint, I think you got to judge them by the ribs. I'll give them a 3/5. While the rub is good they are hardly fall off the bone and the bark was soft and mushy. The sides I had were good, Baked beans and loaded potato salad. The three sauces I tired were all very good. They are the original, moonshine vinegar, and Kansas City. May come back any try the pulled pork. Also the cashier told me they do brisket on occasion

Well, I've never been a fan of the place as of late but unfortunately my family wanted to order take-out from The Soup Kitchen the other night. I don't know if anyone knows the history of this place but it's a fairly old Knoxville restaurant. It used to have really decent food back in the day but I never really agreed with their business model of changing their menu on a daily basis in addition to them "running out" of items regularly. Their soup really leaves something to be desired, and I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak which I can only imagine was equivalent to a gas station version of the same thing. The best thing they do is their baked breads, specifically their cheese bread, which they were out of of course. Bake more when you run out?!

Just curious if anyone else has eaten there and what they thought?

The wife and I ate there one time a few years ago, I got the potato soup.

The "soup" was very watery and the potatoes were hard as a rock, like they had just been cut.

Awful.

ok guys so Peerless/KTown Tavern update

Either Wednesday or Thursday of next weekend (right before Halloween) the restaurant will close for the major remodeling. The banquet facility will continue to operate unobstructed. The expectation is being closed for 9-10 days. I'm very excited for this change.

As I learn more, I'll keep y'all in the loop. Sadly it won't be functional by the South Carolina game, but I'm currently expecting all systems go by the Homecoming game

Quaker Steak and Lube has Pepsi drinks - sigh

$17 dollars for a burger meal at an average burger joint, that's a damn crime.
BurgerFi Prices - Fast Food Menu Prices $3.97 for a large fry! Lol

So my family ordered Pizza Hut a few days back and I want to know what the hell happened to that place!? I used to get pizza from them back in the day and it was decent pizza. The sauce on these pizzas we got tasted like they literally took canned tomato paste and spread it on the pizza and called it their pizza sauce. It was straight up tangy and bitter. I do not remember them being like that at all.
