Knoxville Restaurants

From Hard Knox's own menu:

Get this garbage outta here.

The Iron Mike @ Hard Knox is the best pizza I've ever had in Knoxville. Barley's Taproom also has pretty good pizza.

But Bella Roma's? Seriously? It's decent when you're a drunk college student.

You are drunk and/or stupid. Hard Knox is fantastic. I always get the barbwire(?) it has pulled pork, bacon, jalapeños, and a bourbon reduction sauce.

Anyone can pile a bunch of ingredients onto crust and call it pizza.

Sauce for sauce, cheese for cheese, pepperoni for pepperoni, Bella Roma is the closest think to an Italian-tasting, NY slice of pizza.

Sorry they don't give you an option with raspberries and kale.

Where Hard Knox is good, I am more of a fan of NY pizza and if I want a thick slice nothing beats a good ole greesy Harbys pie.

I've never understood the fascination with Hard Knox.

Unless you want Lettuce and Beets pizza with Artichokes and raspberry sauce, avoid Hard Knox.

Me personally, when I want pizza, I want a big greasy slice with pepperoni, cheese, mushrooms, etc.

Have you eaten a Hard Knox Pizza?

What is wrong with a restaurant offering something a little different?

Try it you may like it.

Took the kids to Longhorn a couple nights ago and couldn't have been more underwhelmed. It's always busy, and I had heard good things...but I have no reason to return. I'll select and cook my own (much better) steak at home or pony up for a quality steakhouse.

Also ate at Blaze last week. I thought it was better than Brixx, and very inexpensive. Nice to see one coming to TC.

It's so bad. The one here in Myrtle Beach is terrible. Our friends landed on Longhorns when we were down in Orlando last year and what do ya know....it sucked, too!

Has it changed any since the new owners took over? I haven't been since then

This I cannot answer. Most the things I post restaurant related are from my experience from 2014 or earlier. I am still not to the point health wise that I can go out and enjoy a good meal.

I did go to The Stock and Barrel several months ago, got a great burger, was sick for 2 days. I am feeling pretty good now, I am ready to go try me a good greasy meal and see how my belly reacts. :)
