Lady Vols Logo

fyi, I will be scarce to find around this forum as of now. Too many popups and ads have made this place not worth the trouble. C'ya

Mobile or desktop?

Can you post a pic of what you're seeing? You should not be be getting any popus and nothing has changed on our end that I'm aware of. Sometimes a pop up will sneak through but it should be rare. If you can post any screen shots it might help me locate the offending ad and have it removed.

Thanks.

I went thru my settings and deleted all web history and reset my popup blocker. Then, disabled a add on that I still have no ideal what it was or came from. The annoying as hell popups that flashed every time I refreshed this site has stopped(for now!) I hope it lasts.

I support the Vols. not just the men's teams. My just the women's teams. But the Tennessee Volunteers.

Not to mention that logo is outdated and tacky as ****.

The women that wearit or have worn it don't think it's outdated or tacky. How they feel should be more important than how some goober with a keyboard feels.

Logos and terminology get old. Women's sports has changed dramatically over the last 10-15 years. This isn't 1980 with Pat Summitt anymore. The whole idea of calling teams "lady vols" and "lady bulldogs," etc. dates from a time when women's sports was a novelty. It's not a novelty anymore. That's just the way it is. For the diehards it's all about nostalgia. Referring to a women's sports team as "ladies" is antiquated. My daughter goes to a girls' school with a 125-year-old history. They had a logo/symbol for the school that went way back. Two years ago the decision was made to update the logo--modernize it. The old timers complained, of course, but the change was an improvement. All the athletes at UT are Vols, men and women.

And you're entitled to your opinion. But this decision should be made by Lady Vols. Do you think your daughter should have the same rights as men when she is grown or not?

He had an opposing opinion so you call him a goober...sounds reasoned and rational. :)

Let em sign their own apparel contract...bet they'll be on board with that...until the Nike bucks start flowing and they don't get a piece. :)

hey, might as well wish the best for all you Fathers for tomorrow before I forget about it. I plan on doing the same thing as I did today, making breakfast, taking the dogs for a drive, watch a little CWS baseball and swim in the pool. Also have to make an airport run to pickup the Wifey. :)

And I'm sure the gentlemen who wore the big blue coats and feather hats were upset when the military went to camo. It's called modernization and it's about damn time UT joined the rest of the country

They went to camo for a reason. It made them less likely to get shot in battle and to make them a more effective fighting force. Not a very good analogy.

We probably need to change that whole color thing with the orange. God knows we wouldn't want to be different than anybody else. :ermm:

I also like the fact that our young Lady Vol women are brave enough to be different and not go along with the crowd.

Our orange is pretty unique...until you pair it with blue...then it resembles Auburn. :)

They wear what they're provided...expect more of the same. :)
