Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

So are we okay with federal overreach today, or is that socialist authoritarianism violating state's rights? Difficult to keep track of the flippy gymnastics happening on the board lately.

Well when I get off from work today, I am going to lift weights for roughly an hour, prepare some beef & asparagus with a side of rice, watch either Predator or Full Metal Jacket (undecided), and sharpen my samurai sword with a blue super stone! Essentially a boring night. Growing tired of government oppression.

I don’t think so. I think the governors are going to do what they feel is best for the people of their states, just as they’ve done so far. I don’t think any amount of “guidance” is going to change that since the onus has been placed on them from the beginning.

All the governors eligible for reelection or have aspirations for higher office are waiting on someone they can blame if opening back up goes bad. None of them have the balls to be first.

Hopefully Bill Lee will get a lot of Republican challengers in the next Tennessee Republican Governatorial Primary.

Fake or not, I stand by my assessment.

Rocky will probably have a word or two for Bill, I imagine.

He got so uppity about one earlier today that he was foaming at the corners of his fingers while he typed. He tried to fuss at me about something but I couldn't follow his train of thought at all.

Sure people are responsible for their own wealth generation. Have you ever once heard me state otherwise? Nope.
The thing is 79, and maybe it's just youthful ignorance on your part, but some people are not capable of generating their own wealth.
And another point which you seem to miss, not all societal needs are met through individual wealth generation.
But you see, that is very typical thinking of narrow minded and shallow conservative "capitalist".
And thanks for the advice, always interesting to hear interpretations of cave drawings.
Yes. Those are the have nots, or as I have always called them, democrats. See Luther, life isn't fair. As much as you would like it to be in actual reality its not a thing. Its a man made myth as a means for the weak to try and justify their plight. Nothing more. Nothing less.

What time should we all show up?

These governors are cowards and they enjoy the power. Ohio has announced they will start to re open May 1

Oh, the opinion pieces... I caught that much anyway, but not sure if the same thing. I don't think it was fake, just mischaracterized.

This place would be boring if not for the lack of integrity.

It depends.

Some wanted those "state's rights" violated with a federal shutdown a few weeks ago.

Some of the same are screeching about "absolute authority" now.

Really boils down to who said it.

You know people are getting desperate when I passed a local Burger King today and they had a 20 car line to order food. Oh honey you want a veggie Whopper, sure I'll wait in line for 16 hours.
