Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Does anyone see a problem with this?
Trump administration pays bankrupt firm with no employees $55 million for N95 masks

"The FEMA contract pays Panthera about $5.50 per mask, while established suppliers such as 3M charge about $0.63 per mask, the Post reports. "

This has yuge week for libs dropping the big government cards. This virus will not stop in it's changing of everything the way we know it.

Libs chastising people for spending money unnecessarily. Rich I tell you RICH

Yeah thats a problem. Blame the government contracting process. Wanna take it a step further? Blame the uneducated affirmative action hires that proliferate HR and contracting in the government.

I've worked in civil service or the military under 4 presidents, this happens all the time. For example, I can't just go to Staples and buy desks for my employees, desks that are adequate and relatively inexpensive. Nope. I have to go through GSA and spend a fortune on stuff literally made by federal prisoners.
When I was purchasing in my time in the military, it was crazy the time you had to buy from a minority or woman owned company first at many times the amount you could save from just some local company.

Now how the hell do you figure that. Let's say one person contracted it from someone from an airport, who was already recovering from the flu, and that person died when they caught COVID, and otherwise would have lived.

You can say I'm giving an extreme scenario, but Trumps claims of millions of lives saved because of shutdown measures must really be off base.

He's as off-base as everyone who used the original Imperial model. It predicted up to 2.2 million without strong mitigation efforts.

I'm not saying he's a Nazi, but the Nazis are saying he's a Nazi (or they at least think he's sympathetic to/advances their cause). Otherwise, they wouldn't support him.
Yeah, I'm not sure why that latch onto him but that's not Trumps fault. Those are low life pieces of sh!t and there is absolutely no room in this country for that ignorance

I don't think many if any lives were saved by his air travel shutdowns. The virus was here, it was spreading and the end results shutdown or not would be similar.

I think it's true that had he done the travel restrictions earlier it would have been more beneficial. Not knowing how many people were infected allows statements like yours to be mostly true but I also contend without any way of numbers to back it up that restricting travel and the time it bought us did save lives. Mostly through educating the public. Interesting take though.

no one knows, we can only assume because the month of February was spent on vacation or something like that. We do know that he played golf as the pandemic spread across America. View attachment 272060
What a coincidence; I'm always willing to help out an intellectually curious person such as yourself:

TIMELINE: The Trump Administration's Decisive Actions To Combat the Coronavirus Pandemic
MRM_cropped-scaled.sized-50x50xf.jpg

BY MATT MARGOLIS MARCH 19, 2020

It’s hard to imagine that there would be such a concerted effort to undermine the public’s faith in the federal government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, but sadly, this is how things are now. The election is eight months away, and past attempts to doom Trump’s presidency have failed. Without a doubt, Democrats' allies in the media see the coronavirus pandemic as their newest chance to ensure his defeat in November.

The liberal media digs up various “experts” to trash him. Democrats, including presidential candidates, repeat lies about the Trump administration’s response, and you can’t go anywhere on social media without seeing liberal minions regurgitating disinformation or just by default trashing anything the administration does.

But, the truth of the Trump administration's response is far different from the picture they’re trying to paint. When the World Health Organization was first alerted to the virus, Democrats were in the middle of their impeachment witch hunt, but Trump was taking action immediately to protect Americans. Most of these actions probably went unnoticed because of the media's and Democrats' obsession with impeachment. The Trump campaign posted a timeline of events relating to the coronavirus that shows definitively how the Trump administration has been taking charge of the situation from the earliest days through the present, which I will post below:

?? THREAD: President @realDonaldTrump took decisive action from the beginning to protect Americans from the Chinese coronavirus.

While Democrats & the media were obsessed with impeachment, President Trump was focused on Americans' health.

Check out the timeline:

Easy. Any scenario under which logic would say that Trump's actions saved lives is due not just full credibility but to be embellished upon and exaggerated; whereas, any theory under which Trump's slow reaction and minimization of the virus for weeks cost lives, well, that's a bunch of left wing media bull crap right there.

At this point yes to me. It was one day of ranting. He took no action on it and prior to, during and after has said it's a state decision. All his actions have favored states making their own choices.

So, if he says it again, they you'll condemn it more than just calling it wrong. I only ask because you seem to get irritated when someone brings it up. I just don't see it as something that should be glossed over. It isn't that he has made that suggestion just the one time, after all.

another fact free analysis.

why not lay it out - what actions were delayed and how did that lead to additional deaths. how many are we talking.

i'm not irritated at all when someone brings it up

not sure why you reached that conclusion.

Well, now it makes more sense. The "he did the best he could do" is equal to "no one could have done better".

I better stop, because I know I'm playing petty politics similar to "Open up America Again", maybe there is room on the stimulus checks to add that in there along with text "TRUMP" to whatever, or whatever is on there.

TRUMP KILLED PEOPLE!

No bigger than the former VP claiming we need a national shutdown.

It is definitely more of a biggie what a former VP says than what a sitting president says. When Biden says that from behind the presidential seal, I'll be raising the same objection.

But hey, Biden would probably threaten to dismiss Congress to get a new head of Voice of America too, and nobody would make a peep.

I can play that game. Democrats enjoy the electoral support of communist/socialist groups domestically, and their 'moral support' globally.
I'll compare the Nazi regimes swath of destruction to the commies & socialists any day of the week.
