My daughter's boyfriend works for a big oil company in Houston. He's still got his job but is worried every day. They have already been furloughed one week a month.

This is exactly how Solomon Brothers commodity trading arm had a massive windfall before the Iraq Kuwaiti war. They bought a **** ton of oil, payed huge fees to store it on cargo ships, then when the war broke out they sold it for huge gains. The guy who made the move got something like a $100 million bonus.
