Amash is big on by the book (Constitution) work.
1. Dont think Congress even has the ability to formally punish the FBI et all. So hes not going to overstep on that. This could be ignorance on my part but I thought this was all executive branch stuff.
2. It was a presidential impeachment trial/hearing. Not a FBI hearing. It wouldnt even be the place for him to be negative of the FBI.
3. I havent read, has Amash made a statement on the why of his vote? For you to say he suddenly thru his principles out the window I would need to hear the reasoning rather than assign my own.
4. Just because there are dirty cops involved doesnt mean a base crime never happened.

I'm not talking about impeachment, but the two FBI investigations facilitated by CIA and DOJ. Amash has a real-time, massive scale event of government abuse to point to regarding intel, FBI and DOJ's ability to endanger liberty, yet doesn't use it. Why?

His impeachment vote was egregious, too.

I think your last sentence is referring to the Ukraine impeachment, and not what I'm discussing, though no less politically motivated and no less a blatant coup attempt.

And you have assigned a lot of guilt at Amash. What has he said that made you feel this particular way towards him? What made you think it was him going after Trump and not following process? Like I said I havent read up on the matter, maybe something is there that Amash was being political. I havent seen it, and you havent supported it as part of your argument.

And think this goes back to Rockys point of Amash actually voting against the renewal of the FISA. Sounds like he did realize there was oversteps and did what he could as a legislature. I have no clue what the timing of this is. Maybe your right and he has it backwards, but I havent seen you support that with dates.

there are other companies that could've produced needed PPE. A competent leader would've prepared. Elections have consequences.

Also, why has he STILL not marshalled all US assets available to him to figure out testing???? Every professional and scientist out there says it is THE key to reopening and to combating the virus.

And yet we continue to get from Trump all sorts of mixed and misleading or flatly untrue messages: anyone who needs a test can get one, we've tested more than anyone else, we are doing great on testing, well no never mind its up to the states to test, and on and on.

If I didn't know better, I'd say its almost like the Trump administration doesn't want us to know the actual numbers.

It wasn't until April 7th that he used his power to strike a deal with 3m.

Well, we finally had to cancel the Disney World trip in early June before the deadline. Nobody knows whether the park or hotel will be open by then. We're getting a full refund for the park and hotel, and a credit voucher for the airline tickets that is good for two years. Even if they are open by then, it probably would've been a bad/weird experience.

no one knew this was going to be a pandemic....well donald knew....he just didn't want to tell anyone or plan for it. He planned this outcome to show how inept President Obama and his administration was.

In January? Not much was known in January other than a virus was loose in China. I can only imagine the uproar on the left, pretending to be free market capitalists, had he implemented a ban at that time. Don’t disagree with the second part. Definitely should’ve been in touch with 3M as soon as the virus started rifling through senior living facilities on the west coast in February.
