Tough choices must be made by states. Would be true for the Federal too if they didnt have a 'printer go brrr' option.

And yet we continue to get from Trump all sorts of mixed and misleading or flatly untrue messages: anyone who needs a test can get one, we've tested more than anyone else, we are doing great on testing, well no never mind its up to the states to test, and on and on.

If I didn't know better, I'd say its almost like the Trump administration doesn't want us to know the actual numbers.

The actual number of sick that would drive the .2% death rate even lower?

I dont get being more scared of a disease because you have information that says more people had it than we knew and that means fewer people have died, or even been adversely effected by it than we thought.

Not really. Would testing help hospitals deal with the sick? You know the ones actually bad enough to go seek help?
Or how does tying down medical resources in a continued quest to continue a test with a +90% negative rate help?

The whole way we were addressing the virus was to make sure those that needed hospital care could get it. So far, they have. Testing wont increase the number of beds, ventilators, nurses, doctors, medicine.

The only people being denied care here are those we think DONT have Covid and cant get, or have a more difficult time getting, unrelated treatments.

They are allowing their political bias to get in their way of thinking with reason. Nobody knew what we was going to be dealing with because China was restricting the info, covering it up or making false statements. Which the WHO even echoed.
So now they want an investigation for nothing more but to make up more BS.

I do agree we need one on China and on why Democratic governors allowed so many to die instead of giving HQC.

therein lies the problem....some people would rather risk their life than have the government serve its purpose. Over some falacy that it is a handout, but they don't have a problem with the government giving corporations a tax break. The government is funded by taxes. Take care of the citizens so that citizens are not forced to put their lives in danger.

The programming which makes us turn on each other rather than our leaders has been very effective.

The gov isnt supposed "to take" of the citizens. Fact is, this has been blown up to scare and divide americans and to grab more power.
