Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Yep, can't allow the economy to get going no matter how many people are out of work. That seems to be the DIM playbook.

One of the more interesting things I've seen over the past month is the realization that there are 2 different worlds coexisting. There are people still living as if we are in a plague. And then there are others, and I mean many others, going about life normally. Very strange.

It is a strange thing to see . We are supposed to be locked down here but everyday you see more and more people out and less of them are wearing masks .

It’s a message board where nobody ever changes their mind. I’m sure I’ve never posted something here that wasn’t a waste of time.

Where are people not free to wear a mask? I said very clearly that it’s a prudential decision. I’m pointing out what choices say about priorities and what priorities say about the person. I’m not advocating that the government bolt a mask on your face.

Im not sure what rock you’ve been living under, but most states have some requirement regarding the wearing of masks.

Here’s a brief summary of those regulations:

Facing Your Face Mask Duties – A List of Statewide Orders, as of May 21, 2020

Getting back to your original statement I was responding to:

Which is why I was making fun of people who said we should reopen the economy and pitched a fit about the masks.

I still don’t understand what there is to make fun of if someone wants to reopen the economy and doesn’t want to wear a face mask.

Lets say Fauci was 100% incorrect in every single thing he said. Who’s more stupid? Fauci? Or the White House for continually putting him in front of a microphone to spew his incorrect statements? Hindsight is always 20/20.

I thought Trump made a mistake ceding so much influence to Fauci early on. That said, it is difficult to be overly critical of the move because, as I've said, when an expert starts claiming millions of deaths early on, it is difficult to turn a deaf ear.
