Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Thanks for the link. I'll read it in a minute. All my doctors appeared to be in pretty good physical shape except for number 3, who was short and dumpy. Not hugely obese, but overweight. Doctor #1 may have smoked (don't remember) because everyone did in the 1950's and 60's. Number 2 smoked a pipe. The last 2 didn't smoke as far as I know.

The weird thing about the current doctor is that after number 3 died, I started going to him. I said "How old are you? I'm not sure if you want to take me on as a patient because all my doctors die fairly young. They don't make it much past 60, if they make that." He said he was 50, I think, and that was about 10 years ago. He smiled and said "I believe I'll be okay taking you as a patient." I don't know what killed him. Probably a stroke or heart attack since my wife saw him last Tuesday for allergies, and he was working.

My first 3 doctors have their pictures on the lobby wall at a local hospital with their birth and death dates, so that is how I remembered their ages.
Maybe you are a serial killer who targets doctors?

That would explain it, I guess. I liked all those guys on a personal level, and even played golf with one of them. This current death bothers me, as it came as quite a shock. He had degrees from both UNC and NC State.

Disaster fatigue is a real thing. I don't support their decision to attend, but it's not my decision to make.

We'd probably be in the clear or mostly in the clear if we'd actually taken it seriously for longer up front.
Wasn't a certain president accused of racism and xenophobia for doing just that though?

Both women were charged with maintaining an illegal alcohol establishment and illegal possession and sales of alcohol. -NBC News

This is interesting - I just had a discussion the other day with my wife about the bad smells all around town. Sulpher smelling - almost like a sewer. She smells nothing. I normally have a very weak sense of smell, so it was very odd to me.

I’ve been mildly sick for a month - nothing terrible, just a mild cold that turned to a nagging cough. Now I wonder if I had the Rona and this smell is related.

Also, no, it’s not swamp ass.

Did you get a steroid or anything? I had something similar, started as nasal congestion, so 95% sure it was a cold. Attributed getting my sense of smell back to the steroids. Attributed the bad smells to my son's diapers sticking with me.

Did you think the virus would disappear?

Is it possible that telling people to stay indoors and wear unregulated cloth face coverings is actually making things worse?

Is it possible that not allowing healthy people to build towards herd immunity in the warmer months is now creating a terrible situation during respiratory season?
boom!

I think we may agree here. You go live in your cave, and let the rest of us live our lives. Also, those articles on ICUs are exaggerated. They operate normally near capacity.

Hospitalizations are a problem in Tennessee right now. They're at over 3000 for C19 patients right now. Prior to December their high was about 1500 in June. Most of that time the numbers were below 1000. This is a real problem that can't be ignored

Nope, never even went to the doctor. It’s just strange because my sense of smell is so weak but have been plagued by putrid (and apparently imaginary) odors for days.

Once they steal the Senate, I imagine they will be able to do whatever they like. Whether or not it's legal will probably fall in a grey line.
Oh I thought you guys actually had something. Didn't realize it was the same old fear mongering over something that can't be done legally. Ask Trump, he knows
