Our current situation on PPE, toilet paper, chest freezers, etc. is a perfect illustration of the bullwhip effect.

The system is now awash in goods that were impossible to find a few months ago. The demand spike has gone up and down the supply chain and here we are. Pretending Trump or Biden have anything to do with mask production is idiocy.
