Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Did I hear correctly that the CDC guidance is telling vaccinated people to still avoid traveling? That can't be right.

Also, did they include people who have recovered from the infection in their easing of restrictions?

If you have had the vaccination you can visit your elderly relatives in the nursing home, but otherwise you need to wear a mask in public and socially distance unless you can prove you are immune via the thumb up your ass test.

They did not touch either subject. They're still not leveling with us. They didn't even give you permission to go to Shoney's

Ever see anyone in that career path that wouldn't give the worst case scenario?

Just got around to reading. This is gold:

And if you and a friend are both vaccinated, you can finally have dinner together.

Are there sincerely people in this country that haven't eaten with an apparently-healthy friend in a year?

You've raised a very pertinent issue and it's more of an issue with smaller employers. For example, a small dental office who has one hygienist. If she gets sick then you'll have to cancel two weeks of cleanings. At the very least it's a huge inconvenience and at worst costly. I can sympathize with businesses that pressure their employees to get the vaccine
The vaccine doesn’t prevent you from getting covid so the hygienist could theoretically still test positive for covid and be out of work. It’s definitely an issue for businesses and some.... like the example you provided... can be impacted much more than others.

For some reason.... that’s kind of what I envision you looking like....just not as masculine .... even though I’ve seen your fishing pics

Now you're sounding like the CDC and reminding us that "there's always a chance". It is highly unlikely that someone who is vaccinated would get sick enough to warrant a C19 test

It’s crazy to think about, but I bet in some of the draconian lockdown areas where the fear porn has been out of control this might be true.

... And I wasn’t wrong as per the PA DOH on that date based on information of cases mainly in the PNW. Not sure how that is a “gotcha”, but keep thinking it is. As always, an ad hominem against you is the crutch of the insecure with a failed stance and a sure sign that you’ve won a debate.

Please. You either didn’t know it was a bogus number or didn’t care and jumped on the fear porn bandwagon. You bro’s were a dime a dozen a year ago and some still are the same today. You were more than willing to put it out there, it just happened to be one of the more crazy stupid things said and we didn’t forget it. Any fair minded reader can go back and read that whole exchange and know what was going on.

Contrary to what the chicken little’s jumped on, the world was not and still isn’t ending.

I'll just rely on the fact that I'm a 31-year-old healthy male with a 99%+ chance of minor symptoms and a miniscule chance of death from COVID. My parents have made the decision to get vaccines- good on them, they're adults.
My 87-year-old grandmother-in-law with heart problems and diabetes got it and was fine. She was sick for a while but never had to go to the hospital. I get that not everyone her age is so lucky but I’ve known 50+ people that have had it and not one has had serious repercussions. Does it have terrible effects on some? Sure but it’s the minority.

So this is the pivot after the virus? Now lockdowns will be needed for the environment? It wouldn’t shock me one bit. I heard the Knox County Law Director talk about how basically anything can fall under the umbrella of public health AND safety. It seems that AND it being changed to an OR and will be used to justify anything and everything, just ask the Knox County Health Board. Until people start pushing back it’ll never end.

This just means you're gullible.
