Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has admitted that some illegal migrants have been released into the United States without being tested for COVID-19 at the border - but he can't say exactly how many.

Mayorkas was grilled by lawmakers during a congressional hearing on Wednesday about the surge of migrants illegally crossing the border, how many of them have been tested for COVID-19 and whether they are spreading the virus in the US.

Paris faces new Lockdown with announcement due tonight after Soaring Covid cases caused Hospitals in the city to Overflow

Paris is facing another lockdown to curb a surge in coronavirus cases, the French government has announced.

Ministers will impose tougher Covid restrictions on a number of regions including Ile-de-France, where Paris is located, with an announcement due tonight. It is not clear when the measures will come into force.

The move comes after France on Wednesday announced its biggest daily rise in Covid cases since its most recent lockdown was lifted in late November last year.

Eight total positives among more than 9,100 COVID-19 tests ahead of NCAA tournament

INDIANAPOLIS -- The NCAA said it has completed more than 9,100 COVID-19 tests heading into the NCAA tournament with only eight total positives among Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 personnel.

1. Why aren't they playing the Tournament somewhere that allows fans to enjoy the games?

2. Why do we continue to repeatedly test healthy, well-appearing athletes?
 

Last summer Fauci was saying that a vaccine would be considered very helpful if it was 50-60% effective. Current vaccines are 86-96% effective. Now he’s saying we have to worry about the variants. But those same vaccines have been shown to be effective, just not at as high a percentage. So far the South Africa variant is the most difficult with effectiveness of vaccines around.....wait for it.....50-60%.
