Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

DeSantis visited my son's classroom today for a q&a. Not sure what they talked about but I know from the pics that he doesn't wear a mask and neither do the people with him. Good to live in FL
The whole pride thing derived from not wearing a mask is something I’ll never understand... but hey, if you’re proud then good for you! Soon we’ll start handing out non-participation trophies lol

Besides poor or non existent correlation of infection rates being higher in non mask states. Even if masks were found effective, I have little faith that most people are complying with the mask safety guidelines. I watched the Shelby County Health Commissioner at the podium constantly fidgeting with her mask, negating any so called health benefits of wearing a mask (and possibly making it worse). The rules are:
  • Wash or sanitize your hands before and after putting on and taking off your mask.
  • Place your mask over your mouth and nose.
  • Tie it behind your head or use ear loops and make sure it's snug.
  • Don't touch your mask while wearing it.
  • If you accidentally touch your mask, wash or sanitize your hands.
  • If your mask becomes wet or dirty, switch to a clean one. Put the used mask in a sealable bag until you can wash it.
  • Remove the mask by untying it or lifting off the ear loops without touching the front of the mask or your face.
  • Wash your hands immediately after removing your mask.
  • Regularly wash your mask with soap and water by hand or in the washing machine. It's fine to launder it with other clothes.
And, here are a few face mask precautions:

  • Don't put masks on anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious or otherwise unable to remove the mask without help.
  • Don't put masks on children under 2 years of age.
  • Don't use face masks as a substitute for social distancing.

I’m pretty sure you could reverse this and it would actually work better.

How about 62,000 cases per day at the present time. Down from a high of 200,000 per day but the same level from which the 3rd surge took us to 200,000 per day. The unpredictability of the latest variants is the basis of the 4th surge concern. Hopefully it doesn’t happen

Is it still a 99.8% survival rate?

wearing a mask, super easy, but ya'll bitch

we get the vaccine so you will stop bitching... and you still bitch...

The Ohio Department of Health and the Hamilton County Coroner's Office are awaiting medical records and test results before determining the cause of death.

It comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on Tuesday they were recommending a pause of the shot after six women developed rare, but serious, blood clots out of 7.2 million vaccinations.

Because it is meaningless to me. I have antibodies. You socialists like to talk about 'need'. I don't NEED to wear it. YOU need me to wear it to make you feel better.

The issue that a lot of people are mad about is the messaging regarding the vaccine. One naturally would think that after you get the vaccine you would be able to resume a normal life. Then Fauci gets on every news channel in the country and spouts off about how even vaccinated people still can't (as if he makes all the rules) dine indoors. It's reasonable for people to be frustrated by the messaging.
