Not 1 bit. I miss choices and bigots being easily identifiable.

It's amazing how many so called conservatives don't really believe in personal freedom.
So on this we all agree. However that is a reflection of their personal views requiring no personal information disclosure in my part.

But to your point if they are allowed to do this and openly request it I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I would also, isn't the freedom to make choices great?

It’s also amazing how many so called conservatives voted for Trump and defended his protectionist trade policies.

Yet here we are.

I agree. Like those advocating for restrictions on business have no business calling themselves a conservative.

Well in the classical sense they are conservative.

Feminine? I didn't realize opposing restrictions on business is a feminine trait.
You’re reinforcing nosy catty behavior for no valid reason.

But on the underlying premise pretty much all of us going back and forth agree on. We want businesses that behave badly to display that bad behavior proudly so we can give them the finger and take our business elsewhere.

I support person/businesses right to be nosy. I also support a person telling a nosy individual, business or government agency to **** off.

As a business owner, why don’t you tell us?

It would pull the curtain on hard core bigots and expose them. It would open opportunities to compete against companies that openly discriminate and consumers could make better informed decisions.

Let's face it, businesses discriminate every day they are just creative in how it's done. Few things would change if the laws were rescinded, with social media you can't get away with open discrimination anymore.

I agree that the constitution specifically is a limitation on the federal government. I also use it to point out that what is good for limiting government is good for limiting needless nosy businesses 😎

The best way to limit nosy businesses is not to frequent them and make 'em starve. The free market system works

Depends on the discrimination.

No one should accept that. A private citizen (business) should be free to discriminate freely and openly.

This has been a very interesting discussion and has made me think harder about where I stand on this.

At first glance, I would oppose any type of commerce restriction based on vaccine status. It’s nobody’s business and if someone is concerned about it, wear PPE.

What if airlines, gasoline retailers, or power providers cut people off for not getting the jab?

On the other hand, a business owner should be free to do business with whomever he or she wants. And should have the right to set the terms with their customers.

I think after thinking harder about it, I’d agree with allvol and hog.

But I can understand anyone who doesn’t feel that way. And also think it’s a bad idea to categorize someone based off their position on one issue. There is definitely a lot of gray here.
