This disease, like all diseases, will run its course. It will mutate. It will spread. It will be part or our world from now on. I wonder if Covid will eventually settle into an annual cyclical return like colds and flus. That's just it...
You could be asymptomatic and still be shedding the virus - in fact these are the ones to worry about the most. As more people get vaccinated and symptoms of the illness are suppressed or ignored as being something other than covid, people stop quarantining and spread the disease. In fact, my mother believes she was infected by vaccinated friend who was generally asymptomatic and who later tested positive.
Waiting for the ICU survivor video where the guy say "Eff yeah, that was awesome. So glad I didn't get vaccinated. Would do it all over again!"
So unvaxxed matters not. That's just it...

Someone with natural immunity, all 4 of the major vaccines, all doses, could be a asymptomatic spreader, and a danger to all, killing grandmas left and right.
This fear mongering would be fine if there was an established metric they were objectively measuring off of. Right now we are getting "good enough for government work" level of judgements from the CDC.
Oh... my bad. Carry on...Really? Why try and plant that doubt on a vacation somebody is looking forward to?!

Can someone explain why people think Desantis has done a good job with the virus? And I'm one who fully admits Cuomo botched it in NY.
The answer is yes. The world will survive. There was no need to make such a big deal out of this. I may, however, give them a mulligan early on because I am of the opinion that Fauci and people up in that level believed that this may have been a bioweapon or leaked from Wuhan based on the February 2020 email leaks. I think that their original opinions were correct based on previous cold and flu seasons (meaning no need for masks or quarantines). But once the Wuhan leak possibility presented itself and started to become a likely possibility, they went into panic/CYA mode. This disease, like all diseases, will run its course. It will mutate. It will spread. It will be part or our world from now on. I wonder if Covid will eventually settle into an annual cyclical return like colds and flus.
Wait, re-read what you are posting here...
You're making the case that the vaccinated need to be quarantined and isolated from the unvaxxed... not the other way around.
Unneeded lockdowns, with no proof the last one helped, due to below historic norms of hospital bed usage....If I were making a case, it'd be for the most at risk to get vaccinated or stfu about potential lockdowns, mask mandates etc.
We get it, you're scared of the vaccine. Just keep your yap shut when hospitals are filled up and local governments are forced to employ measures to keep our hospitals from being overwhelmed. Also, if the economy takes another hit due to lock downs, be sure to look in the mirror before bellyaching about it here. It's people like you who whine about the vax being 'untested' who are being admitted to hospitals and it's hard to have any sympathy.

There's some good ole-fashioned fear mongering with a side of guilt. Catholic leaders are proud of your efforts here.
I didn't bold your chiding to not cry about it. I put in bold the fear mongering 'extra'.Hell, most of the trumpers and anti vaxxers in here are suggesting that it's about to happen again - but me telling someone not to cry about it is fear mongering?
LOL
