What was the documentary, that’s where my parents are from?Nazis didn't just start to collect and murder Jews. There was a process. A process that the world would be good to study to recognize the red flags. One of my complaints about the teachings about the holocaust is that they spend all of the time on the most egregious part but they don't discuss HOW it got to that point.
I just watched a documentary on the Hungarian Jews, which were taken last. It went through how all of the steps to that point seemed harmless or so far away, it didn't matter. It obviously mattered.
Did you make this same impassioned plea last summer?Again, we do it when necessary. Whether it's necessary in this case is up for debate. But accepting reasonable impositions for the sake of others is a part of existing in society. We don't blast music at ungodly volumes at all hours because others need to sleep. We wait in line because others got there first. We don't walk around naked in public because others don't want to see that. Society only works because we compromise when need be.
I don't mean any of that to be a direct comparison to mask mandates, so we'll see who bothered to read down this far.
Again, my issue is not with the position of the folks at last night's meeting. My issue is with their behavior. We have got to stop dismissing vile behavior out of our ideological peers, on all sides.
Nah, people are reaching breaking points and becoming physically and verbally abusive because they're mentally weak and undisciplined. And if they go to my church, I would bring them up for removal from any voluntary leadership positions for violating multiple tenets of the Christian faith as outlined in scripture, but I digress.
And you actually don't mean all science, just the science you like. My field and professional associations have been knee deep in research since this started and have a wealth of practical research and even video examples that demonstrate and explain the research methodology and conclusions visually. I'm glad to share it for you to peruse of you're inclined to have an open mind.
You guys really want this sack-o-s*** death cultist governor for POTUS?
From July 30 to Aug. 5, Florida reported 134,506 cases, and 175 deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health’s weekly report released on Fridays. There were 24,086 more cases this week than last week, a 21% jump, and the percent positivity increased to 18.9% from 18.4% last week, the report said. High positivity rates indicate community spread.Florida will be in good shape this autumn and winter ( i hope). The covid infections will have run through everyone and they won't be hit with covid, cold, and flu season triple witching at the same time. Learned their lesson last year, I guess.
Yep that's what has happened in countries that have dealt with Delta variant alreadyFlorida will be in good shape this autumn and winter ( i hope). Show the science and the data that shows kids are greatly at risk. The CDC’s numbers don’t lie, if one can do basic division it’s there for you. Kids under 17: 349 died /4.2M cases = 0.008% cases result in death. 4.2M cases/35M total cases = 12% of all cases. 349 deaths/621K total deaths = 0.05% of all deaths. So a population that makes up 12% of total cases only accounts for 0.05% of our total deaths. Their death rate of 0.008% is unsurpassed by any other age bracket. Anyone scared to send their kid to school without a mask for fear of dying from Covid shouldn’t drive them to school either then.
Yes, you’re correct the weak ones are the ones who refuse to kowtow to mandates.
Good. This is what we need especially in the unvaxxed or impartially vaxxed population. Burn this virus through the population as quickly as possible as long as it doesn't overwhelm hospital systems. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Jan - Feb will be much improved over last year. From July 30 to Aug. 5, Florida reported 134,506 cases, and 175 deaths, according to the Florida Department of Health’s weekly report released on Fridays.
